I've already went fairly inactive for one week of this month when I went on vacation to Virginia Beach. I'm going on a one-week mission trip to Chicago next, starting tomorrow. Unlike Virginia Beach, I'm pretty sure I won't even be on vizzed for one second. I'll have much less spare time and this is a really important trip that could change my life forever! My two best friends are going on the trip with me, and most of my Sunday night youth group is going.

Hopefully I'll give an update when I come back about how the trip was. Then I plan on starting my summer assignments soon after XD Those should take at least 2 weeks, then I shouldn't be near as busy for the rest of the summer.

I didn't want people to worry about me becoming inactive every other week already, especially since I just got a staff position last month. I already hit my quota for this month, so I'm good for now.

Well, real life always gets in the way. I hope you have a fun time at the mission trip . Don't worry about being inactive here, people understand.

Reaching quota this early is great XD. You get to look good in front of tRIUNE- I mean, you get to rest the rest of the month .

Hope to see you around when you're more active! XP

ZeroTails: Thank you, I had an awesome time! You'll see in my description about it

GamingN00B : No problem! I thought someone would be worried, and I couldn't afford to worry a lot on such an important trip. I never came on because I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi XD

Bintsy : Thanks, I did have a great time!

I got back tonight from the trip, and it was
way better than I expected. It impacted me and my friends a lot, I made stronger bonds with everyone there, and I did great with the kids!

The mission trip to Chicago was to a program there called innercityimpact, a program to teach kids about God and provide daycares and clubs for them. We youth kids helped to run events at those daycares and clubs for 5 days. It helped me learn how to work with kids (including my brother! ) and it impacted my life too.

One of the things it impacted was my decision about Honors English. I'm stepping down from it, and I'll email my teacher about it. It's because of my increased responsibilities outside of school (such as my staff job here), time with my family and friends being more precious to me (I want to be with them pretty much as much as possible), and more.

We youth kids took an amazing and surprisingly not tedious test to determine our core values and spiritual gifts. I found out my core value is Honor, and my spiritual gift is Prayer.

2 women cooked for us, so because of them we had plenty of food to eat throughout the day. We stayed in the building to sleep there, so we slept in a couple of the rooms the kids did daycamp in. We went to a Chicago Cubs baseball game on the first night after the daycamp!

After the daycamps and clubs were over for us, we went sightseeing. We went to the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), the Navy Pier, and the Magnificent Mile.

It was an amazing (mainly spiritual) experience and now I know why everyone wants to go on mission trips with their youth groups! As well as plenty of fun time with the kids, we had plenty of fun time together playing games, talking, and voice-acting and things like that I was sad to leave, but I was grateful for the trip.

My two best friends went with me on the trip (I invited them and they were allowed to go since we payed for them!) so they were impacted too! I could tell all of us got something out of the trip, and I just can't be thankful enough for how it went for all of us, and that we all could go and experience something so special.
