Seriously, why am i doing this? Is there really any point in me reviewing Arceus? I mean..We all know that it's great. It's a freaking god. There is no point in me explaining anything,no point in me talking about. This whole action is just pointless.

So i'll be going.If you excuse me,i'll be re-watching Stiens;Gate.See yah! *Waves*

...I can't do that, can i? I might as well cut the comedic facade, and tell you why i am doing this.I am reviewing Arceus because i am very, very lazy this week. And i may have burnt myself out with the schedule of reviewing Pokemon.I don't have the patience right now to review something with 3 evolutions, and spout out mountains of information about the same move's i have talked about over and over.So i'm taking a free week by lazily reviewing this thing, because we all know it's overpowered as heck. It's basically god!

There is no point in me going through any information,or history about the Pokemon, because i can sum it up very easily, just by doing this review.Lets get to it.

Ladies & Gentlemen welcome to Pokemon Reviews, and this week: Arceus.

Moveset & Leveling Experiences.
.............................................................................................................................................................................................
Alright..I may have been a bit wrong.Arceus is not exactly a free ride to the Pokemon league.I mean it is,but it is a pain to level, due to it taking forever.

Right when Arceus is born (through mods of course.) it will know any one of these 4 moves.
Cosmic Power
Seismic Toss
Natural Gift
Punishment

If you don't get either punishment,or Seismic Toss you're screwed..Have fun!

Level 10 will give you Gravity. This move prevents immunity to ground, and flying immunity. For instance, let's say your Pokemon has the ability known as Levitate, and i use Gravity. You my dear are now grounded, and susceptible to any ground type attacks. This move is stupid, but you have no choice but to take it.

At level 20 you get Earth Power. This move is a ground based physical type attack, that deals 90 damage and has 100% accuracy. It also has a 10% chance of reducing the targets special defense by 1 stage. This move is awesome.

Level 30 gives you hyper voice. An extremely powerful normal type move that deals a base special damage of 90,and has 100% accuracy. That's it.This move is great.Nothing else needs to be said but to take it.

At level 40 you can get Extreme Speed. This move deals a base physical damage of 80,and has 100% accuracy. And to top it off,+2 priority.A.K.A,it hits really freaking fast. This move is excellent. If you can make room for it,i suggest you take it.

At level 50 you get Refresh. This move will cure you of all status conditions. Please take this move.If you want to know why, please skip right ahead to the competitive play section of the review.

Level 60 gives you Future sight. This move gives you Future Sight. This move will deal 120 base special damage, and has 100% accuracy. However, the move will hit the target two turns after you use the move.Making this somewhat problematic.I..don't really recommend it.But if you would to take it,go ahead. Not like i can stop you.

At level 70 you can learn Recover. This move will restore 50% of your health...That's it.This move can be useful in a stall set,and i do recommend it if that is your goal.Other than that, you may want to skip it.

Level 80 gives you a move that..Well,i believe is rather outdated.Hyper Beam. This move will deal 150 base special damage, and has 90% accuracy.Sounds good right? Well perhaps you should read the fine print. After you use this move, you need to recharge. The reason i don't recommend this move is for a couple of reasons.

1.This move sacrifices accuracy for power. Why use this when there is even the slightest chance it may miss.
2.You have to recharge next turn. This is obviously to make up for the extreme damage that you MAY do,but its not a good trade in my opinion.Especially after the move you get at level 100.

But go ahead and take it if you want

level 90 gives you Perish Song. All Pokemon who are on the field when they hear this move will faint within 3 turns, this includes you to.However,if you switch out your puny god will be saved. This also goes for your opponent. This move would be alot better if it made the Pokemon faint no matter what.Even if you switch out. That would make this move perfect!..Yet extremely overpowered, because all you would need to do is give all 6 of your Pokemon Perish Song, and take your opponent with you.I don't recommend it..But man would that be change be cool! XD

Level 100 gives you the Trademark of Arceus.Judgement.This move deals 100 base special damage, and has 100% accuracy. However, the type of damage Judgement does can change depending on the Plate Arceus holds. If you would like to know more,i refer you to these links.

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Judgment_(move)

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Plate

Well that was actually pretty good.Good job Arceus.Anyhow, onto the stats.

Stats Weaknesses & Abilities.
..............................................................................................................................................................................
*Sigh*..I have nothing to say.Get to it.

HP: 120
Attack: 120
Defense: 120
Sp. Atk: 120
Sp. Def: 120
Speed: 120

...So..What am i supposed to do with this? Am i just supposed to say that every single stat is perfect? Because that's what i am thinking about doing. There's almost nothing to talk about here.I'm sorry but everything here is good.Perfectly balanced.I suppose i should move onto weaknesses.See why i dislike reviewing legendaries now?

Luckily for you,Arceus has one.Fighting.This is defeated by any generic psychic type.I for one recommend Slowbro.Talonflame can also work due to it being a flying type.And..That's once again all i have to say. This is going pretty short.Oh,you're also immune to ghost types.

The ability you have is Multitype. This ability changes Arceus's type depending on the plate it has. This opens you up for a variety of strategies. And while it is not exactly optimal,it is still very interesting. You also have no choice but to take it.So..Meh.Not the worst thing ever.

Competitive Play
......................................................................................................................................................................................
This week i have 2 sets for yah.And they are very, very overpowered.Lets get started.

Arceus @ Life Orb/Life Orb
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Shadow Claw/Stone Edge
- Earthquake

This set is basically just you being what i like to call,a Blind Berserker. You take down as many things as possible before you go down.

Swords Dance will be your move to gain more power, when you feel as if you're safe.Very risky to use,but if it works out for yah,the rewards will be great.

Extreme Speed will be better than Judgement for 1 reason.Just one Swords Dance will make this move just as powerful as Judgement.I'm not even kidding either,i did the math. Also,Extreme Speed was chosen because of the extra priority you get.We need to make sure we hit first.

Shadow Claw will be the move that counters Ghost types.Which is arguably Arceus's biggest flaw. This will solve your problem.Have fun.

Earthquake is the move that will be the filler move for this set.Use it when faced with an opportunity to deal 2x's damage to rock types. Also use it when you have not used Sword Dance yet,and extreme speed is not extremely powerful yet. Then again since Arceus should be a normal type pokemon with this set,the STAB bonus you get from Extreme Speed should be mathmatically more efficient. However,if i add in another variable such as..I think i have gone on about this long enough.

And they say Pokemon isn't complicated.

The item here will be Life Orb to maximize damage.I have also experimented with Leftovers. The results went fairly well.It proved to be useful when i'm at low health. However,Life Orb really maximized the damage. The choice here is really up to you. There are ups and downs to both.

The ability is..Obviously Multitype.Which will not be useful here.

Ev's are put into Attack and Speed to maximize damage, and just a is put into health to give us some bulk.

Nature is jolly to once again maximize damage.

That was a traditional attack set.But let's move onto something very, very annoying, shall we?
............................................................................................................................................................................................................

Arceus @ Leftovers
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Refresh
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Shadow Claw

This is a very new set that was recently created, and is really pissing off people. There's actually petitions for it to be banned, but there are ways around it.Lets get to the set.

Refresh is here when you're affected by a status condition. This will cure you.Best.Medicine.Ever!
Swords Dance increases damage.Use this when you feel safe.

Extreme speed is the STAB used for this set.Coupled with Swords Dance this move will destroy everything.

Shadow Claw is to get rid of annoying Ghost types.Keep in mind that this move is also affected by Swords Dance.

The item here is Leftovers to keep us alive. As Recover would basically ruin this set.Trust me,I have tried to run it.

I'm not even talking about the ability.

Ev's are put into Attack and Speed to get the jump on the opponent. And once again a few points are put into health to give us bulk.

Nature is of course put into Jolly to give us more power.

That's it for Competitive Play.Let's get this over with.

Final Thoughts
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Arceus is very overpowered...But not invincible. The smart player can find a few holes in Arceus's defense.Granted they are very, very hard to find. And even then, the smart Arceus user will find a way to cover those flaws as much as possible.

Still,it is pretty fun to use.It has a pretty good moveset, that picks up right after level 20.Very awesome stats. And is excellent in competitive play. And like i have constantly said during the review,i honestly don't know what to say about Arceus, except that it's basically perfect.
Or at least as perfect as you can get.

It has a few small chinks in the armor, but the positives far outweigh the negatives. It's hard for me to find any flaws in this guy.So let's just end this.

Arceus gets a final score of-4.7/5

Good job buddy.*High fives Arceus.*

Pros
.............................
Very powerful moveset.

Powerful stats.

Excellent in competitive play.

Possibly overpowered.Especially with the new set the fanbase has created, that is almost breaking the entire Uber meta.

Cons
.............................................
HAH! Good luck getting one without mods.

So.Long.To.LEVEL!

For alternate Pokemon Recommendations,i would like to refer you to-

1.Darkrai: Darkrai may be the most annoying Pokemon to deal with in the Uber tier.Due to it's oh-so annoying move,Dark Void.

2.Greninja: Greninja is very powerful, but actually requires thought and skill to use correctly.Unlike other Pokemon in the Uber tier.

3.Mega Gengar: This guy is so powerful with a Mega Stone, that it can compete on legendary levels.

And that's all for this..Somewhat shorter review compared to my others.Hope you enjoyed it.And if you have any request or suggestions, just tell me in the form of a private message,or reply to this thread.Anyhow.that's all the time i have today, see yah next time! *Waves*

As somebody pointed out to the mods, you have already done a review of Arceus here. It would be wise if you had a text document that listed all the Pokémon that you have reviewed so far so that something like this does not happen again. Even though this isn't the same as your other, I am going to close it since you've already made one for this Pokémon.
