I just bought the Outlaw Star series. See it uncut is a little different, I never realized how many jokes they throw in. There are some parts where things were taken out that you don't even notice. It is an interesting series, not the best but a good one.

Mine don't have Japanese subtitles, they do give the option for Japanese voices though. Gene just gets annoyed really easily. It is an awesome series.

I have seen most of the uncut one. Gene is a player big time. I always liked it. If you do a yahoo search then you will find some good pictures of Gene and the rest of the crew. Ashia was to hard on the ears with that voice of hers. I like Melfina the best
