Just write which childhood game you loved the most.
It can be anything. Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda: Link to The Past, Duck Hunt, Final Fantasy, Pokemon Stadium, Pacman World, Pikmin, Mario Party, anything!

Mine was definitely "Legend of Zelda: Link to The Past". I played that all the time.

The first game i remmember loving was called "Vanguard" i think. It was a sidescrolling space battle game on the atari 2600. Other games i loved when i was a kid are, Dig dug, bionic commando, Altered beast, Contra,Double dragon, and many more, but these are the ones thar come to mind.

Anything from the "Sly Cooper" series (mostly Sly 3 though). I loved that game so much, I created my own stories and challenges for it. It might have been that I grew up poor (I still am poor), so it was one of the few games I actually owned, but to this day, I don't have any experiences with any games quite like I did with Sly Cooper. I recommend it to everyone. If you haven't played it, it's for PS2, but got a PS3 port. While the PS2 games are overall better than the PS3 port, I can't argue the price. For a bundle of the 3 games you can get the port for like $30 used. There's also a fourth game on PS3 that ... well ... isn't quite as good.

Thinking back at all the Nintendo 64 games I had, I believe my favorite childhood game would have to be Donkey Kong 64 and I can still play it to this day but I have already beaten it a handful of times, so it just sets in my stack of games.

My favorite childhood game is Mega Man Zero 3. It was my first Gameboy Advanced game, my first in the Mega Man franchise, and holy crap what a great game. My name is actually taken from Hidden Phantom, one of the bosses in the Zero series. Fantastic game, fantastic story, fantastic music. Just fantastic.

I had quite a few on quite a lot of consoles: SNES would be Super Metroid, PS1 would be Gex or Crash Bandicoot, and the N64 would be Banjo Kazooie or Super Mario 64...I have several favourite childhood games.

I'm torn between Toejam & Earl and Harvest Moon (SNES).

While Harvest Moon 64 was better than the first Harvest Moon and I did have more fun with it, I have to list the first one above the N64 title simply because it was my first Harvest Moon game and opened the door to a whole new world of gaming for me. Prior to that I had no idea a game like that could be made. It'll always be a special game to me.

Toejam & Earl was just great because of it's originality and the utter hilarity of it's antics. I had so many good times playing that with my sister....

Of course I also had good times playing Harvest Moon 64 with my sister... Hrm...

I'll say the first Harvest Moon. I love that game to no end even today, and still go back to it despite there being far superior versions of the game now. It's just beautiful in it's simplicity.

Pokémon Sapphire, full stop. I played it so much that my mom put a ban on playing them during the weekdays. It was the first game that I really got into and will always have a place in my heart. It also started my loved of RPGs and Mon games!

Have I mentioned how much I love Paper Mario? Because I don't think I have. At least, not enough.
But yeah, Paper Mario wasn't my first childhood game, but it was my favourite, and it still kind of is. The sequels may be better, but Paper Mario is still pretty solid.

CobaltWarriors : My favorite childhood or early childhood since I'm only 15 is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team. It is this way because it was the first game to make me feel emotion and feel attached to the characters even though they were just sprites. It makes me wonder why so many critics don't like it eh it's alright at least I like it and that's all that counts.

CobaltWarriors : My favorite childhood games were between two games that I remember so vividly. Awesome power of Visualization ! Anyways, these two games are "Final Fantasy 7 (VII)" for the PlayStation One and then there is the other game called "Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door" for the GameCube. Both are pretty cool gems of gaming history that I am very glad I could be aware of and experience for myself throughout my gaming years.

The game during my chidhood that I enjoyed the most was pokemon fire red version. I remember spending hours leveling pokemon up, hype about their next evolution. It was really fascinating to me back then. I wouldn't mind if nintendo made a remake.

My favorite game that I played during my childhood was Super Mario World's GBA port. It was the game that got me into platforming games, was the first game that I actually beat all the way through, and I felt so accomplished when I finally took out Bowser for the final time, and I haven't felt anything quite like that from a video game since. I've actually only played through the game around three times, partially because I know that playing it again, and with how much easier it would be to defeat everything, it would be a bummer how much less satisfaction I'd get from it.

My favourite childhood games were Twilight Princess and Super Mario Sunshine. A unique aspect of both games is how I wasn't able to beat them until later in my life- I always got stuck at some specific point.

Besides that, I had (and still have) a jolly time with both games.
