Does anyone have recommendations for good Megaman games? Either your favorite, or one that serves as a good introduction to the series? How about any Megaman games that are not so good and are best to be avoided?

LittleDuck177 : Why not start from the Beginning and play through it? The original series is great. 2 and 3 are my favorites and are some of the best games on the NES.

If you want to see how the series has developed over time, just start from the original, and go on from there, maybe skip 3 (Really tedious).

If you want to go straight to the good games, play mega man X and mega man Zero (Warning: its really, really difficult), There are 9 Mega man X games and 5 Mega man Zero games, they are all pretty good, except mega man X7 and X8 (IMO).

Battle network is extremely different from any other mega man game, but its still pretty good.

enanoide : How is 3 any more tedious than any of the others in the Original series? 2 and 3 are hands down the best games from the NES series. Although most of them are solid titles that all pretty much follow the same formula.

Jordanv78 : Well, its been a long time since I played 3, I think something that dragged me away from it was the fact of how they tried to make the game longer by making you fight megaman 2 bosses again.
