Ah, the Playstation era, a time when RPGs were going over the top and doing everything possible to best one another. While many of these failed to stand it, one specific RPG made a name for itself (although only shortly lived). The second game I ever played and actually beaten (besides Final Fantasy VII),  The Legend Of Dragoon was truly a remarkable piece of work. With a wide range of characters, an intense storyline, and an obnoxiously large amount of available items (including armor, weapons, and accessories), LOD seemed to be the next in line for being extended out. However, it died off and fell into the shadows. But still, those who have played it and still play it, will never forget the hours spent, the story told, and the hearts captured.

Our story begins with a young fellow named Dart, whom had a VERY close childhood friend named Shana (oddly enough, this reminds me of Tifa and Cloud from FFVII). As the story goes on, we find out that Shana is very special and... ohh, my apologies, I was about to spoil the game for you.

Well, anyways, this is one of the very few games that I have actually beaten (without cheating) and truly a game that I will never forget. This game (like Final Fantasy VII) holds a very special place in my heart. I honestly can say if any game deserves a prequel or sequel, this would be that game. I mean honestly, this game deserves more credit and more hype than what it has been given. Out of all the games I have played (besides Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, and the Kingdom Hearts series), this one was and still is worth every second spent to beat it thoroughly.

If there is a game that you should play, this would have to be it. With beautiful graphics, interesting story, amazing soundtrack, and an even more amazing cast of characters, this game honestly needs a revival or comeback.

I'd love to see a updated version followed by a sequel. Maybe even using the new oculus vr system XD

You know man, this review finally convinced me that I need to try this game out. I've heard before that it was pretty good, and this just pushed me the rest of the way. I'll give it a shot when able.

I completely agree, this game is Iconic, and a comeback whether through remastered or  true sequel would be amazing. I would love to see some of the programmers on Vizzed make an Insane Difficulty like modded version for this game. If you don't know what I mean by Insane difficulty you can do your own research at this link http://www.insanedifficulty.com/board/. However, I think just a remake by the modders here on Vizzed to update the graphics slightly would be amazing.

This is a game I remember hiring from a video shop as a kid  and I remember it being awesome, unfortunately however I never got to finish it. It's this game that got me back on to vizzed and working hard to get the PlayStation item.

I didn't have enough space to download this game. I know that it is good. I hope to play it eventually. Also this is a good review this encourages people to try the game if they haven't, or remind people who were going to play it to actually play it.

I've had to buy this game, like, 3 times because stuff keeps happening, and  I keep losing it... Which sucks, because it's a hard game to find. One of my favorites. That Addition system is pretty brutal when you start getting those much better Additions... All my friends complain about the battle screen taking too long to load. It never bothered me, and I've beaten the game, like, 7 times. Definitely worth playing for all of you people who haven't played it yet, and enjoy well-detailed worlds, with fantastic story-telling, a cast of great, and strong, characters, and a unique combat system for JRPGs.

I also still listen to the opening, "If You Still Believe".
