A long time ago, before 3D was the norm for video games, there were some of the most amazing 3D RPGs out there on the original Playstation. As the years continued to pass by, some of these games became a treasure to the gaming community, as well as an irritation. You see, Final Fantasy VII started out rather simple, a story of a hero, a villain, and a world in danger. As time progressed, the story became much more than a cookie cut-out of every other similar RPG. With six great names behind this one, as well as the many sub-games, and similar games (such as Legend Of Dragoon), Final Fantasy VII took off like a jet.

At first, not too many people were certain of what to think of it (with a wide variety of errors and all, such as the reflecting spell looping error). But after a while, it had come to make a name for itself. However, with the world of gaming progressing and the fandom building ever so slightly, it had also come to be widely hated. You see, during these years, as well as the many years after Final Fantasy VII, some of the people who loved the game, got a bit carried away. Instead of just appreciating the game for what it is, they began to hype it up, drawing attention to it and ultimately causing its downfall. Today, many people still try to hype it up, now that it has an entire movie dedicated to the story of it.

With the years continuing, there are still people out there whom refuse to even acknowledge this game (despite playing all the ones before and after it). Honestly, I don't blame them. Once people started to hype this game up (as well as many other honorable mentions unlisted), it tends to take away the appeal and beauty of a game for what it is. But, in all seriousness and respect, Final Fantasy VII is one of the most beautiful and iconic PlayStation games ever created. Now, I'm not trying to hype this up, I'm not going to tell you how much I love this game, and I'm not going to try to persuade you to play it. I will say this however, ignore all the hype and fandom nonsense, this game is truly a masterpiece, like almost any other game out there. It is beautiful and special in its own way, some will like it and some won't. Nonetheless, if I may suggest, just give it a shot. I personally can say I have shed tears over this game and have many great memories because of this game.

Thank you for reading, hopefully you find some kind of happiness from playing this. I am truly sorry if all those hype people ruined it, honestly irritates me too.
