Honestly, I think that Sega has forgotten how Knuckles was Sonic's original Rival. It doesn't always have to be Shadow, and playing as Knuckles every once in a while could be lots of fun. At least the comics leave no one behind.

Sword legion : Oh interesting indeed. Thank you for your post. This would effectively make knuckles the physically strongest of the whole sonic franchise. Especially considering his size. I can only Imagine what his striking strength is.

Knuckles is very strong as his punch and combos are devastating. He also can climb walls. Sonic is very fast I don't know the miles per hour. Basically Knuckles is all power and sonic all speed. The characters make up for the other's weakness. I hope this helps
