I know this is probably a more graphic-intensive and somewhat impractical approach, but it would be great if the whole page was like an iTunes library, where you can interact with menus and categories in real time (by that, I mean perhaps the whole interface could be flash-based). There could be a large grid on the right, as the main window, and on the left there could be tabs such as 'SYSTEMS', where when you click it, the menu expands and lists all of the systems.

Example:

[ Systems > ] grid; listed items change depending on what tab you click
[ GBA ]
[ GBC ]
[ NES ]
[ SNES ]
...etc.
[ Newest Games ]

...But this has probably already been said before.

This is more something for the plugin then the RGR room itself, but here goes anyway.
Don't know if anyone else has suggested it or mentioned it to you, but the RGR plugin really could do with error logging.
Or just logging in general.
That way if anyone had a problem or their game wouldnt load we could say "send us this log file at X" and they could send the file and then we could see what issues the plugin has with their setup.
To fix it for the future.

DarkHyren : Actually it does have that, there was a button for it that I removed, I suppose I could add it back.

iBOCK : You'd have to show me an example. I'd prefer not using flash to navigate games though, it's bad for search engine listings and it's less page views which is bad for earnings.

shadowfan001 : That's a really big job. For now you'll just have to look at the rating, read reader comments and reviews, read the game's review if it has one, look at genre to see if it's a genre you like, look at screenshots and look at user submitted screenshots if there are any.

sonicx15 : Most of the emulators have built in recording functionality so maybe a future release would allow it. Wouldn't be any time soon though.

Yeah flash would be neat but its definitely not the right technology to be using with searching. You want stuff to load as fast as possible with flash there are many problems its like requiring people do download a plugin in order to search. Might be great for some applications but in general your better off using old school tech

Davideo7 : Is there a way to make it automatic rather then a button?
Main reason is if the plugin doesnt even load the button but it loads itself then the log file should still be created.
I think in any case it would be a great idea to have people send in there error logs so that fixes can be included in future updates

a few change ups now and then would be nice like adding the play game using vzplugin right under the pictures while your browsing idk if that would be extremely hard you know? its just a suggestion

i have troble with the fullscreen it just gives me the regular screen with black around it

spyroguy101 : Full screen currently isn't supported in any of the games except SNES games (from the menu).

I’ve noticed that thus far the Turbo Grafix games that I’ve attempted to play only run in java. Is there a way to run them on the plugin in order to save/load data? If there is a way to save/load w/o the pugin I am ignorant of it.

Edit further (sorry if this is looking like spam): Is there a way to run the Turbo Grafix games on the plugin to save/load, i.e. Neutopia 1& 2.

Can you add more hacks for gba such as pokemon light platinum or shiny gold B5

also for the user reviews I think that before they are posted in the box someone should have to approve them. because some of them don't even come close to what the games about and then there are the people that just put random BS in and call it good.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but can you make it so the plugin works with Macs? My cousin and I used to play together all the time, but she got a new computer and now we can't.

Davideo7 : Can I help because I found some great super mario bros hacks of cyborg and smario.But how can you do that kind of game and system adding?Oh and keep working on the online multiplayer by using examples like Mario Party 1-3 plus the pokemon games.

There are several ways I think you could improve the game room. Well for 1, you could add more games...if that's possible...and 2, you should add PSP and PS2 system and games. Im a BIG fan of N64, but you have that already...and PS2.

YourMajestyKen : You can buy those types of games almost anywhere, so that's really not a concern for David I believe. Besides, if he added new systems I think most of us would want to see PSX added to the list.

Davideo7 : as for my OWN suggestion, I can only ask that you have a brief summary as a scroll over. Too many times I have clicked a game thinking it was one thing, but then it ended up being a completely different one. A scrollover summary of the game prior to clicking would save a lot of time for some of us, like me. However, it could just be laziness speaking, and maybe it's just me, but that's all I can think of, the RGR is pretty awesome.

David i think there should be a feature that will make sure that any one under a certain age be allowed to play games like conkers bad fur day because of swearing like when you are playing the game they might say (insert offensive word here) if somebody already mentioned it then how about feature that could allow people to share their saves with other people on vizzed so if somebody wants to share saves kind of like websites like zophars domain but maybe a little different.

For me, it would be very good if "your posts" section displayed not only the posts you have created, but also those in which you have replied. Sometimes I want to return to a post I have replied, but I just can't find it anywhere and I end up wasting a lot of time hunting these posts

maybe you could add dos games and gamecube games. maybe even x box games if they're possible. and if you can put x box games on here, put the simpsons hit and run, and 007 everything or nothing
