Okay, this is my first thread, so don't dislike my way of posting so I am deciding to ask what everyone's favourite Harvest Moon Game; the games in the series are, Harvest Moon (SNES), Harvest Moon GB, Harvest Moon GBC, Harvest Moon 64, Harvest 2 GBC, Harvest Moon: Back To Nature, Harvest Moon 3 GBC, Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town, Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Harvest Moon DS, Harvest Moon: Boy and Girl, Harvest Moon DS Cute, Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happiness, Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquillity, Harvest Moon DS: Sunshine Islands, Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar, Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning and Harvest Moon 3D: The Lost Valley...

I have played every game in the Harvest Moon Series except The Lost Valley so for this thread, I want to see who likes what game and the reason you like that game out of all the Harvest Moon games...

...so I'll start:

FAVOURITE HARVEST MOON GAME: Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning
REASON: This game, is one of the best Harvest Moon Games, in my opinion, it had magnificent graphics, a lot of introductions, for example the Blueprints, then there were the travel options, you also have to buy a ring for your bachelor/ette to date them, and you can also date all of the spouses of the opposite gender of your character, you can also design your character, and buy new clothes and hair cuts, so over all, in my opinion this is the best Harvest Moon Game I have ever played.

Harvest Moon 64 is the only game in the series that I've played so for that reason I say Harvest Moon 64 is my favorite.

Harvest Moon is the only reason I would even consider buying a 3DS, and I guess I really have no choice but to do so sadly.

This series is one that I have loved and followed to the best of my abilities since it's debut on the SNES. Unfortunately finances have prohibited me playing many of them, so all I've played are:
-Harvest Moon
-Harvest Moin GB
-Harvest Moon 2
-Harvest Moon 3
-Harvest Moon 64
-Harvest Moon: Back To Nature
-Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town
-Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town (only a few minutes worth though)
-Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns
-Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (GC version)
-Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar (again, only a few minutes)

Out of those my favorite is probably Back To Nature or Friends of Mineral Town. But really there's too much variation between some of the titles to pick a single favorite, so I have to say that some of my favorites in their own ways are: Harvest moon, 64, BTN, FoMT, and AWL. I enjoyed all of them with exception of Harvest Moon: GB and Harvest Moon 2.

On a side note, I wish they would bring back BTN's Fish Pond and Hothouse. Those are a big part of why I love that game so much. Winter is always so boring without a houthouse.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I loved FoMT for it's change up of classic character attitudes and interaction in general. Same for BTN though. I really miss those old characters. :/

I love Harvest Moon DS because of its billionaire glitch. Make it rain!

My favorite Harvest Moon game has to be Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. It has the most balanced game system that I have ever saw especially on a handheld. Typically handheld games don't have many functions or much depth into the storylines like console games do. I think handheld games are really meant to make you play the game on the go and try their best to entertain you. That's a general reason why I like it.

The tool system, farming system, crop system, cooking system, Harvest Sprite helping system, friendship and marriage system are very manageable to do because there is not too much work or too little of a development for each of them unlike the other Harvest Moon games (e.g: Harvest Moon 64's constant work to go to the rucksack back and forth to get an item into your hands or Harvest Moon DS where you need to give love to your animals with the touch screen gloves everyday). Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town really makes the time fly by in the game and in real life because it should not be time consuming in a simulation game in my opinion.
