Click on the Speaker icon on your computer's task bar (should be bottom right corner) and click Mixer.

The Mixer menu will show you various items on your computer that produce sounds(Windows sounds, etc.).

The one you are looking for is labelled by whatever browser you have the game window open in. You can toggle the RGR plugin sound up or down or simply click the speaker icon below the label to mute.

I think the setting automatically saves so after you exit the Mixer you would have to go back to it if you wanted the game sound back on later or for a different game.

olamar : I had the same problem. Turns out, you just can't use Internet Explorer. When Windows updated from 8 to 8.1, it also gave me a new browser called Comodo Dragon. The plugin works with this browser. I would guess it might also work with FireFox or Chrome. Try changing browsers.

Does this work on windows 8/ 8.1? People are saying it's not and it makes me not want to download it if it's not going to work.

 I have downloaded this before back on my old laptop which was a Vista and it worked, so i'm well aware how good the plugin itself is, which is why i want it again.
