Of course there is conspiracy. The last goverment review stated as much. Oswalds shot that hit Kennedy wasn't enough to kill him. He was shot at from different angles. There are so many theory's about it I could spend the rest of my life reading them. I know most of you arn't interested but this is one of the things I wrote for my gov. class.

1) The CIA Theory
I. Was one of the first government agencies to feel Kennedy’s wrath. After the failed Bay of Pigs invasion Kennedy privately blamed the CIA. He also threatened to destroy the CIA. He fired Director Allen Dulles, who would later be appointed to the Warren Commission by Lyndon Johnson. Then he took all covert military operations away from the CIA and put them under the control of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Thus saying the CIA was mad enough, and felt threatened enough to take action against the President. They had the means and motive to assassinate Kennedy and Implicate LHO.
II. The CIA was mad at Kennedy – Kennedy was taking power away from the CIA – He was the object of blatant hatred of many of these CIA officers and operatives; men who were trained in both assassination and covert operations.
III. I believe the CIA is a agency that acts on its own. And many times it has felt the need to take action to protect itself and the country without orders from the top. I think at least some of the members of the CIA were involved. Whether it was from the top of the Hierarchy or several agents working independently I don’t know.
2) Cuba-Castro Theory
I. The Government was working with the mob in trying to assassinate Castro, the leader of communist Cuba. Castro may have become aware of the CIA’s plot to assassinate him and turned the tables.
II. Castro was mad at the US for the Bay of Pigs invasion. Even though Castro isn’t a likely candidate for killing Kennedy. There would be too many things Castro would not have had control over.
III. Castro is a crazy leader who has been in power for way to long. However he is smart or he wouldn’t have been in power for so long. He wouldn’t have done if there was a chance he could be caught
3) Mafia Theory
I. Many people contend that the Mafia played a major role in Kennedy’s assassination. The Mob had ties to: the CIA, Jack Ruby, LBJ, Lee Harvey Oswald, and the head of the FBI, Hoover.
II. The Kennedy’s were really cracking down on the mob that had substantial power and influence. Many Mobsters were in jail and being prosecuted. The Mob would have had to have help from other groups; and would have had to have had people cooperating with them.
III. I think that since the Mob had ties to about everyone that they played a role in his assassination. Whether it was killing witnesses or getting Jack Ruby to kill Oswald.
4) LBH
I. Out of all the people who would benefit from Kennedy dying it would have been LBH. He had sworn before he would be president no matter what. The theory is he might have instigated the assassination, or at least knew about it.
II. LBH had ties to the mob. Also he was a really crooked politician and had many rich friends who wanted him to be president because they could benefit.
III. I believe that it was very likely that he knew about what was going to happen and was happy about it. Its tough to think of one of our presidents as crooked and a liar.
5) Oswald Theory – Lone Shooter
I. The Warren Commission found that there was one Gunman, no conspiracy, and three bullets fired.
II. Lyndon B. Johnson appointed some of the people in the committee. There was a later study where they found conspiracy and at least two gunmen.
III. I believe it was very unlikely especially with the magic bullet hitting all those people but I still believe that it was possible.
6) Umbrella Theory
I. At the time Kennedy’s car was passing on the street on the hot Dallas day, a person opened up a black umbrella and made a supposed signal with it. Many people think that the man was signaling an attack or signaling that Kennedy was hit. There was also a dark complected man standing next to him who he talked to. The Umbrella man testified in court and when compared to the video his story doesn’t match.
II. He had an umbrella when it was really hot outside. He claimed he was just trying to make Kennedy mad. He claims he doesn’t really remember the dark complected man. But the film clearly shows that he talked with him and set down with him on the grass.
III. I think the man with the Umbrella was an innocent bystander who happened to want to keep his face out of the sun. And the man who thinks he is the Umbrella man is just posing so he can be famous, or imfamous.
Yeah but anyway, who cares who killed one of our presidents. And john, if you hire an assasin are you killing someone or is your assasin?
