Welcome to another thing1 review, the first one in a very long time. Today I will be talking about Forza Motorsports 5, a game that I am currently working on an interactive car data guide for.

The game expands on the previous installment of the Forza Motorsports franchise, Forza Motorsports 5. There are a few new cars, from what I can see, and some of the stats are generally more accurate, in my opinion. However, it feels almost exactly like Forza Motorsports 4!
But it is missing the Auction House. The Auction House was in 4, and I am assuming 3 and the previous games, but it wasn't in 5. I was going to go to the Auction House yesterday and buy some card cheap and then turn around and make a nice profit. But I couldn't because the Auction House no longer exists. So I decided to do some research on why it wasn't in 5. Come to find out, apparently after I stopped playing the game, ad before Forza Motorsports 5 came out, people put some... let us just say things on the cars that would not be acceptable here on Vizzed Board. Sad, but it a good reason to take it down, even if that was how I made all my money for my cars and parts in Forza Motorsports 4.

So, now that that has been talked about and taken care of, I can talk about the Graphics. I must say that the graphics are done extremely well on the XBOX ONE. I was playing Dragonball Xenoverse the other day, and I know that DBX is supposed to have a certain kind of graphic, if you compare it to the detail that Forza Motorsports 5 has, Forza is phenomenal. They show even the tiniest scratch on the car, and when you go in the dirt, it shows the gravel being kicked up. I must say that this graphics are a lot better than Forza Motorsports 4's, but a factor of this may also be because of the new software and hardware with the new generation of gaming systems.
Since I am so impressed by the attention to detail pertaining to the graphics in this game, I will be giving it a 9 out of 10.

The Sound is not the best. That may be because I am biased, and am not a huge fan of instrumentals, which this game is full of. But, the sounds of the car. If you install a muffler or something of the like, for instance, it changes the sound of the car. If you are in the dirt, the sound the tires on the dirt instead of the gravel is different. Again, this is the attention to detail I was talking about in the Graphics paragraph.
The only reason I am giving the Sound a 7 instead of probably a 4 since there is nothing but instrumentals for the music is because of the attention to detail for the sounds of the car and environment.

The addictiveness of this game is not super high, but it is not low either. This game has a lot of " Series " . Now, I will admit I have not explored the game 100 % yet because I haven't gone online to play other people yet, but I am not seeing the little side table that in 4 that had so many side objectives. I mean, that part was MASSIVE! But I am not seeing that here in Forza Motorsports 5, and that hurts the addictiveness of the game. But, this fault is made up by the massive amount of series, and the extra races in each series. And then there are all these graphics for these cars that are so cool, that you can't help but having 2 or 3 of each car that you buy just so you can support the people who make the really cool graphics for the cars.
I think I will give the addictiveness of this game a respectable 6, only because of the amount of races in the massive amount of series, since the side objective thing in 4 is not there, and the Auction House is gone.

There is no story in this game. I will be skipping this section.

The depth of this game is massive. Like I've said above, you have so many cars to play around with. You have all the different series that are some kind of car specific. There is so much you can do to the cars, which is what really gets me. But, what hurts this is again the fact that there is no longer an Auction House ( for reasons that I can understand ) and that side giant objective thing.
If the objectives mode and the Auction House were in this game, it would easily get a 10. But, it doesn't, so I will be nice and give the Depth of the game an 8.

The difficulty of the game is not that bad. But, there are some races that are just a pain in your side. I know each time I boot up the game, it takes me about 2 or 3 races to get back in the groove and get warmed up. That frustrates me a little, but I love it at the same time, because it doesn't just let you go straight back to dominating or doing however you were doing the last time you played.
The finishing system is also a little bit different. Instead of getting points in Forza Motorsports 4 that you never saw to determine you finish in a series, this one has you do a medal system. A bronze in generally 7th or 8th to 11th place. A silver is usually 4th to 6th or 7th. And a gold medal finish is always 1st to 3rd. Now, this is nice because your opponents are real people. The game takes data from other people who play that are approximately at the same skill level as you, and people from your friends list as well. This makes the game just a little less frustrating, and gives it that bragging rights factor that people love to have.
I am going to give the difficulty a 6 in this, as the game does have it's moments, but being that it is so enjoyable, I will be nice on my rating in this category.

Thanks for reading my review. If you have any requests for reviews, be sure to check out the games that I own, or that I have played on the site, as those are generally the only games that I will review.
If you have any feedback, constructive criticism, or questions about the game, feel free to ask.

This is a good review. You give it enough details, it's well-structured and you put the game in context (it follows the previous game, you make comparisons, etc.)

However, as I tell many reviewers (blame my linguistics background ), say what you have to say straight rather than use fillers. " I can talk about the Graphics. I must say that the graphics", for example, could have been better if you had dropped everything up to " the graphics" (the second one).

But it's still worthy of a 4, which I will give you another day because I met my quota already.

This is a very nice review. You added plenty of detail to the review and you explained why your view on this game very well. You also did a great job of making the review pretty lengthy.  Good job and keep up the good work.
