So, I now have Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and I love it. But I was looking up some things on how to get a Perfect Town rating and KEEP it, and one of the things I am supposed to do is have between 110 and 200 trees?!

Um...how exactly am I supposed to manage that without turning my town into a forest with no room for villagers and their houses? Is there some trick to it, or do I just have to suck it up and plant enough trees to start a young growth forest, including palm trees down on the beaches?

The 75 flowers thing is pretty easy, but the vast amount of trees makes me "UM" at the game a bit.

Also not quite related to the title, but still a question I need to ask: How can I get more 'normal' -- aka not the ones you can get on the tours or on the island itself -- fruit varieties? I have pears thanks to Isabelle, but the only person I have on my 3DS friend list has oranges for his native fruit, the same as me. I would kind of like to have cherries and whatever others there are, so I can get a giant orchard going in my town. Do I need to start asking more people for friend codes and then seeing if they'll let me into their towns?

The best way to start the long journey to a perfect town is checking out other towns. Look up some dream towns and visit them to your heart's content. Hopefully you should get some ideas whilst checking out the towns. Keep in mind that most of these towns have been undergoing constant renovation for hundreds of hours.

Also, regarding the fruits, yes, you need to be very active and visit many friends in order to have a wide variety of fruits.

Hopefully I have satisfactorily answered your questions. Good luck!

I'm not sure if there's a way to make a "perfect" town but I'd just say make your town the way you think is best. It's your town and you should make it the way you feel it needs to be made. Good luck making your version of a perfect town.
