Opening Review.....Review Opening Successful.

Introduction: Metroid Zero Mission is my favorite Metroid game to date mostly because it was the first Metroid game I ever played and mostly because it was released on my first console so nostalgia is a big part of this being my favorite Metroid game. Metroid Zero Mission was developed by the Nintendo R&D1 Team and was intended to be a remake of the classic NES game Metroid. It was released in America on February, 9th, 2004 and earlier or later in other countries. This game was directed by Yoshio Sakamoto and produced by Takehiro Izushi and other people I will mention further in the review. So now that we are done with the introduction let us get into the good stuff shall we.

Graphics: The graphics are great for the GBA and very fluent on a original GBA all the colors are vibrant and each area has its own feel and style that is what I like in a video game. But unfortunately it is not perfect if you play the game on the GBA SP it will make the graphic colors more vibrant like it should. But it will become slightly laggy  from the brightness this can be ether very helpful or very stressful depending on the situation. So overall the graphics are very good but perhaps too good since it causes the game to lag a bit on a SP but not much so it is not much a problem with that I give the graphics a 8/10.

Sound: The sound is a remastered version of the NES counterparts soundtrack and it is a very good one at that and I shall tell you why. The R&D1 team used the GBA sound chip to the best of it's abilities and you can tell if you listen to it. Also they do not just put music everywhere they put in in specific locations where the songs fit the atmosphere best from the desolate feel of the ships landing site, to the technological and metallic feel of  Tourian. Every song fits every scene great and it shows that the team put a lot of time and effort into this so for this I'm giving the sound a 10/10 good job on the sound.

Gameplay: Okay if there is one thing the R&D1 team did right that would be the gameplay and here is why that is. The gameplay is amazing for the time it really immersed you or at least for me it did from jumping to flips and firing your powerful arm cannon I mean seriously who does not want to fire a powerful arm cannon at things like Space Pirates and Metroid's and watch in satisfaction as they explode into nothingness. Also what is a Metorid game without power-ups there are lots of them such as the beam upgrades, suit upgrades, and many many more. Finally there are even some tricks that the team intentionally left to make things more fun such as the infinite bomb jump to literally get anywhere you want with the right timing, and there is the one the only the legendary wall jump which can be used to places you should not be with the right timing like the infinite bomb jump. Using these tricks along with many more can get you to places that you are not supposed to be in that point in time this is known as Sequence Breaking and this is very helpful if you are speed running the game so this game give the player freedom which I think is a really good design choice. So overall the gameplay is amazing and very very nice and the Non-Linear type of the game will make a lot of people happy so with this I give the Gameplay a 10/10.

Addictiveness: This game in my opinion is very addictive in fact I will probably continue to play this game for a long time and here is why. You see there is a specific reason that you must replay the game a lot there is a little thing called the gallery and you unlock pictures in the gallery by finishing the game competing specific requirements such as completing the game in a certain amount of time to completing the beating the game with a certain amount of suit upgrades and capacity upgrades. Trying to get all the pictures in the gallery will take a lot of time and a lot of dedication and that is the reason it is addicting. So overall the game is very addicting with the gallery and stuff which is why i'm giving the Addictiveness a 10/10.

Story: This game does one thing that many games cannot do I can tell a story in few words and the rest can be left up to the gameplay and this game pulls it off with flying colors. You see a Galactic Bounty Hunter known as Samus Aran being given a mission from the Galactic Federation HQ her mission is to go to the planet known as Zebes which also happens to be Samus's home planet or at least where she was raised and destroy all the Metroid's as well as the bio mechanical brain know as simply Mother Brain. She goes down to the surface using her ship and hops out at least that is what the sounds indicate during that period it displays one of the only text in the game saying this was her so called "Zero Mission" She then begins her mission to destroy the Metroid's and Mother Brain now I won't spoil too much but let's just say that it tells the story amazingly and so I give the story a 10/10.

Depth: The depth of this game is um ok at best and here is why. You see the only thing they add to the game is a extra map which I will not go into detail due to it being a spoiler but other than that there is basically nothing I think the team tried so hard to make the original content as good as possible but not putting enough time into the extra content but that's fine. So overall there is not that much extra content besides the content recreated from the NES game so that is why I'm going to give it a 6/10.

Difficulty: You see this is the hardest part of the game for me to determine it can be either really hard or really easy depending on the difficulty. On the easy difficulty you are basically unstoppable every enemy has at least half of there heath and you do more damage also it takes more hits for you to die. Also normal difficulty is exactly what it sounds like it is moderately difficult and you take more damage than usual and it takes more hits to kill a enemy. Finally with hard mode you are very likely to die most of the enemies are in there stronger variant and they can do a lot of damage and you can't do much damage to it but you can deal with it if you are good enough. So overall it is hard to pinpoint the difficulty because there are different so I'm giving the the average score of 5/10 as a placeholder it's a different difficulty for different people so that is why I give that score.

Conclusion: This is a great game that should be played by any Metroid fan or any fan of Nintendo trust me this game will not disappoint you so play it if you ever get the chance that is why i'm giving the game the overall score of a 9.5/10.

Wow, that was a might fine review my friend. From the "official" intro text to a history of the game and even comparisons to previous games, you earned an easy 5 for this review.
