Pikaguide ORAS - Part 2 - Pokemon Contest Spectacular

So, in this part of Pikaguide, we'll be picking right where we left off, by drifting off to Dewford Town/Island and it's gym.

Dewford Town/Gym
Dewford Town is a town to do with fishing and is the first place where you can catch
water Pokemon. The Gym Leader is Brawly and he uses fighting type pokemon. I suggest using some other pokemon than your main pokemon against him just because you cannot take any chances.
Once you've completed this, you should now go to Mauvile City.

Mauvile City/Gym
Here, if you go in range of the gym, Wally, your rival, will challenge you to a duel, after defeating him, you are free to go into the gym. I won't talk about this because it's practically the same thing as every other gym just a different type. But Mauvile City has other things to do.

Rydel's Cycles
This is a shop where you can pick up either the Acro Bike or the Mech Bike, the Mech Bike is for people who wants to travel to places faster, and the Acro Bike is for people who want to do tricks on their bike.

Other Stuff
Other shops in this city include the Reverse Battle, Dance Moves, Combo Moves, your standard Pokemon Center and the Poke Mart.

You should now head to Slateport City after defeating the gym leader.

Slateport City
In Slateport City, there is a small market place on the edge of town, here, they include a wide range of stuff, like Moves, Secret Base (More on that in another part) and a wide range of your normal mart items. This does not replace the normal pokemart.

Pokemon Contest Spectacular
This event automatically happens when you get near the Pokemon our Contest Spectacular, a idol called Lisa picks you out of the crowd and she will give you a contest pass. This will allow you to enter the Pokemon Contest Spectacular. In this building, there are two women you can talk to, one will ask if you want to play this event in Multiplayer, the other will ask about the SinglePlayer option. If you are playing this event for the first time, select the single player option. In this event, you get the choice of your pokemon's four moves, and you get either Cool, Beauty, Tough and Cute under your pokemon's move. Try to match the move with the competiton, for example, if I chose the Coolness Contest, I would use COOL moves. After completing your first contest, you will gain a new pokemon called Cosplay Pikachu, also, you will gain a rank in that competition, if I won the NORMAL RANK, Cute Contest, I would then move up to the next rank above. You need to complete all four ranks to be crowned champion of that competition.

Cosplay Pikachu
This is the other event, although it may not be considered one. You gain Cosplay Pikachu when you complete your first contest. Cosplay Pikachu can turn into four different costumes, cute, cool, tough, beauty. Everytime you switch to another costume, you gain a new move he can learn, he can also be used in battles too, but I advise you not to use him as your main pokemon, he's not so strong and is not a really good pokemon.
