Two ideas that came up were a fighting mini-game and a boat race.

zanderlex : The idea was to have the mob battle arena below, and the boat race parkour above. 

The actual problem is the fact hostile mobs can't exactly spawn properly nowadays, so the idea is CURRENTLY out of the picture.

However, I'd really love a mob arena battle. Maybe even throw in bosses. :3

I'd be up for both, whenever mob spawning works properly.

We would have to make the mob battle arena a teleport, since mobs wouldn't be able to spawn in Vizzed Ville.

It could be made to feel fairly seamless though.

I think that mrfe and I learned a technique that could make that exact idea work.

So I think it could definitely be done.

We could go ahead start making an arena, and test whether mobs spawn from the command blocks when things are fixed.

I've started learning commands and some certain mods, so I've started to get what you guys have been doing. 

I have a couple of ideas at this point. 

1. In boat parkour, you could add in pressure plates where they do both positive and negative stuff, at random if possible. 
- such as tp'ing near the start of the race, or more further in. 
- receiving a diamond sword or get a dispenser to throw a Splash Potion of Harming if negative.
- maybe something that kills you, or randomly kills other players. 

2. For the creature maze arena, I just thought of something. Remember the chest game in most of Legend of Zelda games? Especially Ocarina of Time?
- Make it so the player has to CHOOSE which path to go after defeating the monster. It could be 3 or even 4 pathways at once.
- the rooms could contain treasures, or a really hard mob, or a entire group of mobs. Or simply empty...

The only thing that might be problematic is dispensing diamond swords in Vizzed Ville, since it could become a server money issue. Although, I'm not quite sure what use a sword would have in boat parkour, and mobs in the water might end up destroying more boats than the game could handle. We'll need to think about it.
