Never in my life have I completed a zelda game. I've played Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Link's Awakening, but I just can't do it. I've been working most on Ocarina of Time. I'm up to the Fire temple, but I don't even know how to get inside the Fire temple. If you think that's bad, it gets worse. I didn't know how to get out of Kakariko Village! Somehow I find the temples easier than the actual game! I've never been able to complete a zelda game, I get absolutely lost. I know about zelda, just not how to complete the game! I would say more but I don't have much else to say.

That's not really a big deal, aside for maybe a Pokémon game or two and guardians crusade, I've never fully beat any game that I have ever played. Once I have played a game for a really long time, I just can't seem to get to the end.

those who didn't like or played their Franchise's and many other thing (especially the Zelda fans)
but don't worry dude is nothing to be sad.... saying that I beated the OoT only one time recently (this year)

This is not strange at all. I have multiple Legend of Zelda games but have not managed to beat even one. They are some of the hardest and most confusing games out there. The first time that I played Ocarina of Time, I did not even know how to get out of the starting village and had an extremely hard time with the Deku Tree level.

Same here. I've played about 7 Zelda games, but have yet to see the end of any of them. Maybe someday...but not today.

Dude, I have played plenty of Legend of Zelda games, and the only one I have actually beaten was Ocarina of Time 3D, and I had to have help most of the time from my friend at school.

Mario0908 : Like everyone else who's commented on this has said, it's not strange that you've never beaten a Legend of Zelda game. Those games can get tricky especially when it involves a tough puzzle. I guess the only thing I'd suggest is when you're having a tough time, take a break from the game and play another game. Once you've calmed down, then try again and maybe you'll be able to progress further. I hope that what I've said will be helpful to you.

It's fine if you haven't beaten many Zelda games. Take me as an example. So far, the only Zelda game I beat is A Link Between Worlds, and I'm still currently at the end of Ocarina of Time. So, it's really nothing out of the ordinary to not have beaten a Zelda game.

But I feel like I always get stuck in the easiest parts. And once I figure it out, I feel like a complete idiot.

Up until last month the only Zelda games I had beaten were the handheld ones. I finally beat Majora's Mask last night on 3DS. Maybe it's a little weird that neither of us have gotten through a Zelda game. It isn't that I don't like the game or that it's particularly hard for me. I just get fatigued, which is also strange because I've got countless hours in various MMOs and grinding games like Monster Hunter. I always follow the same pattern. Play the game through till the last dungeon, then for some inexplicable reason, stop.

Mario0908 : What's so strange about it? I've played many Zelda games and only beaten 2 so far. Don't call yourself an idiot, as it is fun to discover the fun parts by yourself. Just never give up.

Don't feel bad about this, these games are really challenging. If you just walk past one thing on the ground or something, it'll throw you all off. I have played a few Zelda games, never really gotten into them, but I've never beaten any of them.

A Link Between Worlds

When I was younger, I couldn't beat a Zelda game to save my life. The first dungeon in Wind Waker seemed to be the most difficult, frustrating thing in any video game ever to me. Now I don't struggle with it much. Don't feel bad. Perhaps one day you'll be able to play these games. If you can't now, don't worry about it. Maybe you should put them to the side for now until you've developed certain skills. Then, when you come back, those skills may enable you to clear things you weren't able to before. Zelda requires a good deal of critical thinking to succeed. The 2D Zeldas may be easier for you, and might help you clear a 3D one, like Skyward Sword.

As for the feeling like an idiot, I KNOW THE FEELING. I used to feel the same. It's not uncommon. But don't let your frustrations push you to feeling like you're an idiot. One day you'll do better, and on that day, you'll be happy you stepped back for a while in order to fully enjoy the games you play.
