ok so I saw Gam3rG1rls (or however you spell it, sorry) thread on her problem and I figured I might as well try it seeing as I have basicly no other options.

I'm in love with my ex-girlfriend, Shannon, I haven't stopped thinking about her for over a month now. See we broke up twice, once we got back together and then I broke up with her because I was an idiot and got too stressed out over school so I couldn't think straight. One night I invited her over my house to watch movies because her mom was going out and she hated being home alone. It was awkward at first but then I remembered why I loved her in the first place, I told her I wanted to get back together but she was hesitant, we kissed for a while and talked about it more, she said she didn't want to get hurt again. I promised I would change and be a better boyfriend just for her and she said she would think it over. When she had to leave I kissed her good night and told her I loved her. Soon after I attended her birthday party, this a**h*** at the party with the same name as me (Logan, but let's call him something else for now, how does Loser sound?) had asked me for weed, I told him to think about who he was asking and he was so high he didn't get it, then I just told him to screw off and get a life. I had stayed late after the party was over to talk to Shannon some more about getting back together, still she wasn't sure, but she said she would like to get back together if I really did change. One day later at school, Loser her asks her out and she says yes! When she told me that over text my heart just broke, she knew he was a pot head, she said he was going clean for her. I spent the next few days with my emotions completely out of control, crying all day as I punched my heavy bag until my knuckles began to bleed. It's been over a month since then and I still can't stop thinking of her, I dream of her every night. I would give anything to be with her again, but she loves him now. Winter break is almost over and I have to see them at school every day, does anyone have any ideas? When I see them my heart sinks, and while I would love to beat Loser to death I need to be more mature. Please help, I'm tired of hurting.

I doubt you can do anything for her to break up with "loser" but just be friends with her. It might not be as good as having a girlfriend, but still you'll be able to talk to her.

Yeah, I agree with xfighter... while it may suck horribly to be just a "friend" I think it's the only option you have. You don't have to like the guy she is with, but if she likes him right now then you just have to deal with that.

As long as you are friends with her and treat her with respect then you'll keep yourself in a position to get her back. If you get mad at her and stop talking to her or anything like that then you might lose any chance you have.

And at some point things will turn out bad between them (it happens in every relationship) and they will fight... and you might just get lucky and be the person she turns to for advice/comfort.

And in the end, if she stays with this guy, then there is nothing you can do about it. it's her choice who she is with. All you can do is be her friend and hope for the best.

I guess you guys are right, still being around her hurts alot, does anyone have any suggestions about how I could avoid constantly thinking of her in school? like things to do during my free time, lunch is hell considering I don't eat lunch so I just end up doing nothing for half an hour, I try to keep my mind off it by hanging out with friends or headin to the library but what could I do in class?

there isn't much you can do. When someone is on your mind there's not much you can do about it.

Your only real option is to try and keep yourself as busy as possible. Try and be too busy to think about her. It's not a great option but there isn't much else you can do =/

Ouch... similar stories have happened to me it's happened so many times I just stopped giving a crap about it Some advice I will offer you is:

1. Your still young, all teens are highly emotional that is just the way it is. Even though you might love her she obviously doesn't feel the same way as she seems like the type who likes to pull boys on strings.

2. Don't change for her period, you are who you are. I've fallen for that trap I suggest you don't do it. She sounds exactly like the type of chicks I went out with. The ones who can't make up their mind on who they like... stay away from them period.

3. You have broken up twice already, I think that is a good enough sign it just isn't going to work out. Even if your force it upon yourselves it will probably happen again as the odds are 2/1.

As much as it hurts just forget it. Why? Because she simply does NOT care about you. I've been in same type of relationships, I've got a tattoo on my neck of one and went to a mental hospital because I would "die" for her. That is probably the best lesson you can learn. She just doesn't care.

She wants to be with a loser that's her problem, save yourself some pain and just drop her like she did to you or the pain will fk you up beyond repair. Your better then her so you deserve someone who isn't up for games.

I understand what you guys are saying but she's not mean or anything, she's a very good person. I like to think she's just confused or troubled because you see, last summer while we were going out her dad died of a heart attack while she was on vacation in Massachusetts, she was upset for what seemed like ages and I tried to help her through it. She may still be stressed about it or some other things. Jigsaw you may be right but I know that the girl I fell in love with is a good person and I hope to god she's still in there. She says she cares about me and she says she might want to get back together with me some day. I'd like to think she's just mislead or confused or something, but I'll admit I have thought of it the way Jigsaw says before, and it's not easy. Before this thread goes on or if it goes on, I would like to thank everyone who posts on this for their kindness and for helping me with this problem, I really appreciate it, you guys are awesome.
