My best friend, a person who I consider a big sister (she might as well be as much as she SPOILS me) just surprised me with this week's Humble Book Bundle.
All of those Transformers comics.
I have wanted the comic series for a long, LONG time, but I am jobless, have no money, no way to request money from my parents (I live with them and we are just simply poor right now), and wouldn't for something like comics anyway, not when we have so many other necessities.
But she surprised me with a gift code for the bundle. So now I have 78 comics to read, all Transformers, something I love...and she just made me cry because she did NOT have to do that. I didn't ask her to, wouldn't have asked her to, but she did anyway.
I love her so much and have no idea how to repay her other than in digital hugs, since we live exactly 333 miles away from each other right now.
Maybe I'm silly for posting this, but I wanted to share how good people can be when you least expect it.
