I took mine in the final minutes of the day. Submitted it with 5 minutes to go because I really wanted to enter this year. I decided to at least improve my score from the last time I entered one. Parental harassment has plummeted in the past year so I was able to do more.

I still hold myself back by trying to make my Pokémon have the perfect abilities and evenly training while not leaving any weak ones behind. The best battle strength in every battle(which I prefer) doesn't really translate to getting Pokedex entries very quick but I always try hard. My methods are bringing failure nonetheless.
