Pretty simple idea here .

Ask questions of the married guys, or anyone else who is married. We'll do our best to answer the questions you ask.

Now, we probably won't answer absolutely -every- question that is asked because let's be honest.... not every question that is asked is something we want to talk about... but we'll do our best to answer everything we can.

So, ask us married guys something!

Why did you really get married and for what reason besides love? Cause you don't need to be married to love someone.

What is the worst thing about marriage so far? I'm not talking about divorces I mean during marriage. And what is the best thing about it?

Juliet: I like it. I perfer it to being single. I hated being single. Always wondering if this person likes you or if that person likes you. I hate dealing with that crap.

Jigsaw: Religion. Family expections. It's sort of taboo among my family and religion to move in and live with someone and not be married. Plus I think that marriage is a more secure institution. I'm willing to bet that my wife and I would not have lasted this long if we weren't married. I'm not saying we're unhappy or anything... but there are always bad days in the midst of good days. But if all we had to do was move our own stuff out to end the relationship then it probably would have ended at some point.

The worst thing about marriage is probably the same thing as the best thing, for me at least. I get to spend as much time with my best friend as I want. But it's tough at the same time because finding that balance between too much time and not enough time is tough. Quite often we disagree about what that amount is and what else we want to do instead of spending our time together.

It's all about finding a compromise.

Omega: I think every person who gets married regrets it at some point. Whether it's for 5 second or 5 hours.... people disagree, and they fight and things aren't always peachy and perfect despite what some movies tell you . Marriage is something you have to work at to keep it going strong. If you get lazy then your marriage suffers.

It has never lasted long for me though. When my wife and I "fight" (it's not much of a fight really....) I sometimes wonder if I made a wrong decision, but once we've made up and things are good again between us I know that I did make the right decision and that whatever the problem was wouldn't be worth being single again over.

If you are able to "fight" well, what do you believe is one fight that could possibly ruin it and end the marriage? Seems like lots of couples get to a point, get sick of it (all the fighting) and end it

Are the things you fight about over dumb things? Maybe you can name a few

And, What do you think about a couple who don't fight? Would they last long?

Does it count for Video Game Marriages?.... O.O....Haha just messin'.

Do you think it is more important for the man to be patient in the marriage or the woman?

"If you are able to "fight" well, what do you believe is one fight that could possibly ruin it and end the marriage? Seems like lots of couples get to a point, get sick of it (all the fighting) and end it"

Well, when I said "fight" I mostly meant that we don't yell. Neither of us are yellers when we disagree. We both agree that infidelity is the only thing that will end our marriage. Everything else is workable. We don't fight often enough for it to be a problem.

"Are the things you fight about over dumb things? Maybe you can name a few"

There are always dumb things that couples fight about. I can't really think about anything off the top of my head... I might come up with something as I type, but I can't know for sure. Usually the dumb things are forgotten as soon as they are forgiven. It's less about the thing you're fighting about and more about being too tired or something.

"And, What do you think about a couple who don't fight? Would they last long?"

Well, it does depend on why they don't fight. Some couples just agree way too much. It might seem unnatural but they just get along that well. Other couples don't fight because one of the people in the couple is domineering in the relationship. Those are the ones that will end eventually.... or if they don't the relationship won't ever be very good.

"Do you think it is more important for the man to be patient in the marriage or the woman?"

Cookie: it depends on the personalities of the 2 people in some instances. But I would say in most instances that the man needs to be the more patient one. When a woman loses her temper it's rare that the guy is likely to get physically hurt, but when a man loses his temper it's much more likely that the girl will get hurt.

Gameplay: being around my best friend all the time. I know in spite of my faults that she still loves me... can't beat that.

Surgiac: I feel good about it . I've got one and she's awesome. It's a tough thing though. I don't recommend it for everyone, but it's totally worth it.

well, it depends on what you mean by fight. I disagree with my wife on a daily basis about all sorts of things... but we don't fight very often. Once or twice a month maybe? I really don't know.

Gameplay: the thought crosses my mind once in a while. Life is simpler without children. You have more freedom to do what you want when you want.... but life without kids would probably be boring.

what?!?

split stuff....

we put all our money into a joint account and "we" pay for everything. There is no splitting. I could understand splitting if you got married when you were older and had your own established careers and finances and stuff... but we were 20 and 21 when we got married.... we had to work together

Im married, and ive been married 3 years now.... Its kinda hard especially for me bcause my wife has been going through college while ive been in california and in the military. You wanna talk about HARD, try being married to a woman in college 1300 miles away. I think i have been through more problems with her than couples twice our age, yet were still together and i get out in 18 days.... Hopefully this turns things around otherwise im done..... any advice?
