Yay time to be the phone guy who says all the obvious stuff.

Have you tried unplugging and repluging your keyboard (if possible)?
Are you sure you keys arn't sticky (if so try cleaning them)?
Have you tried restarting your computer?
Have you tried beating on your keyboard like a madman until it worked?
Have you tried throwing it out the window in an act of rage quiting?
Have you tried using another keyboard?

Other than that IDK whats happening (unless this is on purpose but lets not go there).

EDIT: You can always use the onscreen keyboard too if needed (even if a pain).

Well, if it did the same with a different keyboard, some sort of program running on your computer might be doing that (some sort of virus). If that is the issue I have no clue how to fix that. But if you have access to another computer (or anything that can use a keyboard), see if the same happens there.

Lol James, sounds like someone has sticky keys on and you must've put it on by mistake. Turn it of Start>Programs>Accessories>Accessibility. On windows 8 just Windows>Search "Sticky Keys">Change how your keyboard works and look where it says "turn sticky keys on" uncheck it. But I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
