2.When Tite Kubo was in elementary,he was always fasinated by designs of architecture.Tite designed all pieces of clothing in Bleach around what he would like to buy.Ichigo's t-shirts have been manifactured and sold as real products in a Tokyo store called Urahara Soten.Well,time to move to Tokyo!

3.Kubo hand made an entire calendar specifically for the Arrancar arc,because it would take over a year to make.

4.Rukia was the first character created in the bleach series.She was made when Kubo felt like drawing a Shinigami in a Kimono.

5.Quincy translated from German means monk of destruction. Quincy, or quince, in Spanish means 15. Ichigo in Japanese means 15. ( Ichi = 1, Go = 5 )

6.Additionally Bankai means final release. If you go to google translate and set it to translate from English to Japanese, and type in "Bankai", a swastika will appear. Swastika's were prominent in Germany during WWII. This also appears on the hilt of Ichigo's Bankai. Quincies have a German motif.

7.There was so much Spanish used in the Arrancar arc,that it took up 12-15% of the dialogue!

8.The idea of Bleach was centered around Yin and Yang. Even the name "Bleach" was meant as "white on black". But before Bleach, it was called Snipe, about Shinigami with guns, and the main character was Rukia who was armed with a scythe. Because guns and sycthes didn't exisit in the same era, it was retransformed into what we all love today.
I don't know why Kubo was trying so hard to not break immersion,this is anime.This medium can be as stupid and nonsensical is it wants.

We have an alien that is going to destroy the earth in a year,teach high school students in his spare time.


Spirits that decide the fate of humans,and hang out in a bar while waiting for new chumps to show up.


And we have highschool aged exorcist,who save the freaking world.


Trust me Kubo,you don't have to worry about a thing...

10.Tite Kubo has hundreds of cds that he plays while drawing Bleach. He has given each character a unique theme song.

11.Tite Kubo recieved literally thousands of letters about Ulquiorra's death. He didn't declare whether or not Ulquiorra was dead.STOP TOYING WITH ME KUBO!

PLEASE! Be alive Ulquiorra-Sama! Or at least be in a state of purgatory or something,so we can bring you back in the final arc! Come on Kubo,you can hint at Grimmjow and Aizen returning,but not him! Ugh.


12.Kon was modeled after Tite witnessed a boy at a fair, wanting a very cute (and very expensive) plushie. The boy's father bought instead a very cheap (and very ugly) plushie. The boy was so distraught that he threw the toy in the garbage. As in Bleach, Kon was found one the side of the road, abandoned and...ugly. 

13.Bleach was almost cut because the beginning featured too much Yu Yu Hakusho elements.

14.Tite doesn't think ahead of time. He draws what he feels in the moment.He gets alot of flack from his editor from doing this method.Kubo described it as "High risk,high reward." HA! I KNEW IT! That's why Bleach feels so inconsistent.

15.Although Mexican, Chad's tattoo (depicting a heart and snake with angel wings) says "Amore e Morte", Italian for "love and death".

16.Orihime has said "Kurosaki-Kun." At least over 800 times in the entire series.And has said the honorific "Kun" over 1000 times.

17.Yoruichi Shihoin's original name was,Kuroneko.However,Kubo changed the name for a rather...Sensitive reason.You see,Kuroneko literally translates into "Black Cat." Now,what skin color does Yoruichi have again?


Yeah,Kubo did not want to take any risk of sparking up racism comments,so he just decided to change the name.Smart move Kubo.I personally wouldn't care to much.But hey,there are some people out there who would get offended.

18.Kubo intended for Ichigo to have a bit more of a "nerd" appearance.He was meant to have glasses (like Uryu) and be more properly dressed. He also didn't start out with Orange hair in the beginning. On the other hand, Rukia was supposed to be the "hero," but Tite Kubo didn't like how it matched.

19.The Espada's attacks are loosely based on the seven deadly sins. The Espada's actual names are loosely based on archiets names.

20.According to the Shonen Jump’s character popularity polls, Ichigo is consistently the Bleach series’s favorite character.And has only lost his spot at number one 2 times in the entire series run.

You know what? I stopped like watching bleach because of how it has come to be. I'll try and explain and try not to confuse myself. Where you have the story and the villains and what the villains did in the past. some are add ons without explanation. For instance long ago they should had explained more of ichigos mother and behind of her powers and all. I just dunno anymore so....I sadly gave up on bleach since to me personality that it does not make sense anymore.
