I love this thready! Also, by the way, you can just say "thready" - no need for "FNaF thready" ! The word "thready" already means "Five Nights at Freddy's thread" (oh, gosh, I love making new words) !As for my answer to your thread's question...It's a tough call, I have to say.I'd instinctively pick Mike Schmidt due to him being an adorable, likable, agreeable, and kind fellow in my headcanon, but my headcanon is not canon xD! Frankly, all we know about Mike is that he has blue eyes. Some people have inferred that he is a thrill-seeker since Freddy's jingle is based on the Toreador Song (or, according to the FNaF wiki, "Toreador March"), which is a song in the opera "Carmen" composed by Georges Bizet that talks about how the thrill and glory of bullfighting outweighs the danger . If he simply wanted to do the job due to the fact that he was a thrill-seeker, it would explain why he would sign up for it, especially since it pays so horribly.I'd like to note, though, that Phone Guy says "yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up", so perhaps Mike Schmidt just took the night shift, the pay of which must have been told to him, out of sheer desperation. Aww.Poor guy .Despite all this, I'd have to say that Phone Guy is my favorite human character (if not my favorite character) from Five Nights at Freddy's since we know that he at least helps Mike. Some people will go into speculation and argue that he could be a forced ally, but I doubt that. Why would he be a forced ally? Plus, he's extremely reassuring, and he tries to make Mike feel better. The most compelling piece of evidence I have which supports my opinion that Phone Guy is an awesome guy is this:On Night 4, he was in deep trouble. That last phone call he recorded for Mike must have taken up some of his power, but he recorded it anyway.
That's pretty much it. Recording phone calls to help future security guards must take up some power, right? Doesn't the fact that he did it on Night 4, the night which he supposedly had the most difficulty with (eventually leading to his death), seem kind of... selfless?
Maybe not entirely. The phone call was obviously mainly a call for help, but that didn't stop him from saying his typical "I knew you could do it" thing. Nice guy, huh? Before you say Freddy's jingle can be heard in the phone call, meaning the power was out and he could record phone calls without power, wait up - we could simultaneously hear Foxy banging on the left door. Hence, the power was NOT out . It makes sense, too. Freddy CAN attack from the right! In the game, Freddy's jingle doesn't play unless the power is out (when Freddy attacks from the left side), but that doesn't necessarily mean it was the same case for Phone Guy ! I mean, he couldn't even have been on the left side, right? Foxy was there, banging on the door!Lastly, it would be kind of strange for a "forced" ally to say something like this:"Uh, I-I'm kinda glad I recorded those messages for you... ahem, uh, when I did." Eh?
As for Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith... we don't know much about them... except for what their breathing sounds like .
Anyway, it's obvious that Phone Guy genuinely showed some concern for his successor, and that makes him cool enough to be my favorite FNaF character!
Also, he stutters and says "uh" a lot! That's adorable x3!
Let us all go ahead and ignore the fact that he's also a cool guy in my headcanon .
Ha, ha, in all seriousness, though, nice thready, Green! As always, can't wait to see more from you!
Also - do NOT stop summoning me to these. I'd get mad at you if you did ! Keep it up! I love this thready!
