legacyme3 : I read an article about him in batting practice on Tuesday hitting like 5-10 straight home runs. Even if he wouldn't play at all this year, he's a great investment for a couple of years, especially over Jeter and behind Reyes and maybe Peralta.

I plan on turning this team around.

Tulowitzki (best SS in the game when healthy), Hanley (who is actually in the OF, but has SS eligibility this year), and Xander (who I see as likely to jump into the top 10 SS discussion this season.

I have basically no interest in Reyes. Or in trading away pitching. I'll need the pitching I still have to win this year.

Plus, if pitchers hitting was counted, you'd have lost tons of points on strikeouts alone.

In any case, there's a reason pitchers hitting doesn't count. It would give an unfair advantage to AL pitchers, since NL pitchers tend to strike out a LOT, and would often lose 3 points based on just strikeouts alone.

Truthfully, unless you want Stroman, there's probably not much of a fit. I'm definitely not willing to move Felix, Scherzer, Price, Sale, Cueto, Kluber, Hamels or Darvish, and guys like Rodon and Martinez, while available, would be costly.
