Phantasy Star 4: End of the Millennium! Great RPG on the Genesis, very nice graphics, gameplay, music (if you like Genesis music, which I do), its even on Steam for 2 bucks.

My favorites:
Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike -  It's claimed the best Street Fighter game for a reason.  The style, music, characters, parries, and other elements make it memorable.  Plus, EVO Moment #37 is another reason.
Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 - It's one of the best Japanese based pro wrestling games in my opinion.  The roster felt right and there are so many modes to keep you busy.  There's even a MMA match type to make things more interesting.
Tobal No. 1 - It's the first fighting game I ever played.  It's not well-known by any means but the game had some elements and modes that weren't seen in any other fighting game at the time.
WWF No Mercy - A classic wrestling game at it's finest.  The stories, creation modes, and gameplay make it arguably the best wrestling game ever made.

I'd say a tie between Legend of Dragoon and the first Spyro the Dragon game. Both made up a significant chunk of my childhood, and both continue to hold a special place in my heart today.

If you know me, then you'll know that my favorite old school video game is Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES, and all of the hacked versions of it. This game had an amazing amount of depth for it being for the retro console NES. I still play this game today, and I'll probably end up playing it forever. Its really very simple why I love this game so much...I love watching/playing football, and I love the NES...'nuff said!
