What do you think is better Call of Duty Modern Warfare or Halo 3? I'm talking about online gameplay and the campaigns.

I think that Call of Duty Modern Warfare is better because when you play Halo 3 online it takes to long to kill people.

I say Halo 3 deffinately and i'm not even the biggest fan of the game... I just don't think games should be too realistic... I play games to get away from reality and get dragged into a new world and stuff of that nature... That's just my personal preference though... But if you're going by story line i can't really say because i didn't play either one... I did play both online though and i still have to vote for Halo 3 on it... I just find that it takes more skill to take someone down than it does in CoD...

In a way I guess you are correct because in Halo the person your shooting at may have a better chance of getting away since it takes while to kill him.

Halo whats Halo? haha thats how i feel after MW2 came out.. Im obsessed with it.. like I was when halo came out..I feel that MW2 is superior for multiplayer bc of weapon upgrade settings.. Its fun to try and finish achievements..

Modern Warfare is much better than Halo 3.I believe we've had enough of crouching down on our opponent and imply towards a disturbing scene(You all know what I am talking about...)

Modern Warfare is much more better. I mean Halo games are okay but they take along time to respawn when you die.

i would have to go with modern warfare as well. i was always addicted to halo ever since the first one came out. then i played the second and got hooked on that as well as the 3. they were all great and everything but with halo 3 finally finishing halo my addiction for halo sorta ran out. but i did get super addicted to cod 4 tho and i am still addicted to it even for it bein old. so got to give it to cod

From what im seeing i think its safe to say the MW2 takes the title, As expected, we have had our share of halo, i can't stand when you are trying to shoot someone and their hopping arounds. MW2 is more tactics to me. Its also much more realistic and when you die your not confused as to how it happened.

I bought Halo 3 for my 360 when it first came out and I only got around to playing it 2 days ago. Its so similar to the last 2 titles its not funny.. why dont they try something different. Im sure online play would be better than single player but I dont really play online.

I would take MW2 over Halo3 any day. MW2 was so well done, IMO its the best game ever made.

I always been a fan of CoD, but out of the two, I never played any of the Halos online. I really haven't played XBOX much at all either. But from what I gathered and seen/heard, CoD is way better when it comes to online play...besides its multi-platform based so everyone gets to engage in the same game without having to buy another system or such...

I never got why halo was so popular i mean im not a big fan of fps but i lode playing cod and battlefield one for fun one for realisticness.

IMO Halo 3 is much better than modern warfare 2 take into account i have played both and i can legitimately say that halo 3 is better for the sole reason that it is preety much pick up and play anyone can join in and just start playing and getting better because of the magnificent ranking system bungie has created i dont like modern warfare 2 more because of the learning curve although i can say that i would play both if i had modern warfare too but im just more of a halo fan. Another reason why i think halo 3 is better then MW2 is because of the prestige system in MW2 it makes no sense to have all these people who went through all the ranks already go through the ranks again basically demolishing everyone as they go i dont think its fair. Halo 3 is hands down the better game. (however MW2 single player is superior) o and also for the comments on how long it takes to kill people learn how to use the BR

well for online multiplayer i would say halo 3 but for campaine i go for modern warfair 1 and 2

Well i must amite C.O.D. does have a better story.But still once a halo fan all ways a halo fan but i have a third ansewer.I think that there both good.So halo 3 multiplayer is good.And C.O.D. story mode is good.So both good in there own way.

I think it's better than halo 3

I like Call Of Duty Modern Warefare because it is usually the game that I played with my friends online. I like the weapons there, the gameplay, and I think it was better than Halo 3. Halo 3 had great music to it, but Call Of Duty Warefare is awesome.

Well, I'm going with Call of duty- modern warfare. I found it really fun, and have played it a lot with my friends. Halo is only one step behind C.O.D IMO, as it was fun, but didn't really satisfy me as much as C.O.D.

I think Halo 3 is a much better and more well rounded experiences and this is why:
- In Halo 3 the weapons are a lot more balanced meaning that it's easy for even newbies to get kills. In CoD you often get matched with people who are a higher level and have a better weapon, which brings me onto my next point.
- In Halo 3 the matchmaking system is a billion times better than the one in CoD. 9/10 times in Halo the games go right down to the wire, in CoD it’s a different story.
- Vehicles. CoD has no usable ones whatsoever.
- As much as I enjoy the CoD campaign, Halo 3's campaign is longer and has vehicles, making it a better experience. Halo 3 also has a variety of types of encounter, in CoD you're generally at close range and only occasionally at long.
- Halo 3 is the best playing FPS of all time, no buts and no excpetions. CoD is only so popular because of the iron sighting, infact if you think about it CoD gunplay isn't that amazing, even if it is fast paced and frenetic.
- Forge; the variety of Custom games you can make with forge is infinite.
- Save Films; someone say Machinima?
- Halo 3 requires more skill. You may debate this as much as you like, but it does. For anyone who plays at a high level, e.g Commander or above, knows how important Battle Rifle control is and people might argue that sniping is difficult in CoD, but frankly, I think it's a lot more difficult in Halo (people move faster). CoD on the other hand requires very little skill or intelligence, there's no grenade deflecting, no equipment, little radar watching; knives kill in one hit, and you can kill a person with most weapons in about a half a second burst. This does make CoD easier to get into than Halo in some ways and the skill of players in Halo does sometimes work against newbies. But I say persevere.
- Medals; possibly the best thing ever in a game; there's nothing better than hearing the announcer say "Overkill" (except when he says "Killtacular").
- The map design in Halo trumps CoD significantly; CoD4 map design is pretty lazy I tend to think, with many of the maps being cut-off parts of the single player game, whilst doesn’t necessarily detract from the fun; in my opinion it adds to the balancing issues. In Halo 3, however all the maps are excellent and well crafted (even Isolation, especially Isolation). Any Halo player who hasn't downloaded the Legendary map pack do it now! Avalanche is possibly the best big map in Halo history and Ghost Town is surprisingly good. It goes without saying that I love Blackout. The maps that shipped are also pretty good. Guardian and Valhalla are probably the pick of the bunch. Other maps like the Pit and Construct are also pretty darn awesome, not to forget High Ground!

So there you go; there are my reasons for liking Halo more than CoD. That and the fact I've played through all the Halo games a Billion times. Most people playing Halo online right now are people who have played the prior games in the series and loved them and most people who play CoD haven't given Halo much of a chance. This whole rant or whatever you may call it doesn't mean I hate CoD. On the contrary I do still play CoD relatively often and have enjoyed almost all of its prequels; I just find the shooting so much more repetitive than Halo’s.

meh I like both but I like halo better online I just get really excited when I kill another player I liked COD modern warfare for the really gripping story line though go soap mctavish
