Since I upgraded to Explorer 8 I'm having trouble getting most of the games to work, GBC ones in particular.
I have the most recent version of Java. Is there an issue with IE8 or something?
I've tried loading it on another computer (also with IE8 and most recent Java update) so I didn't think it was my computer.

I have no idea why IE8 would make the games not load properly but I have never had a browser related problem loading these games with Firefox.

I've tried using FireFox for it, and for some reason I can't log in when I'm on it. I'll type in all my info, correctly, on the screen and when I click log in it tells me I am logged in, but I'm not lol

Update: I just tried loading the game with the 5 free plays nonmembers get on Firefox, still same result. It just stays on the loading screen

It sounds like Java might not have installed properly on your PC.
Also remember that you have to install Java for each browser you use, not just one.
If you havn't already, visit the Java site with the Firefox browser and make sure Java is indeed installed for Firefox.
Just click the do i have java button while using Firefox to visit the java site.
If java says it is on then check that Javascript is also on.
Visit https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=12654 for info on turning Javascript on.

If I think of anything else that might be the cause I'll let you know.

Sorry for the late reply. I've checked and Java is installed on both and scripting enabled for both.

I have a similar problem, so I figured I'd reply to this thread instead of making a new one.

You see, I'm by no means an expert on emulators and Java (which is a pity, I know), but I'm not sure how I go about working these game.

I tried to "Play the Game" with either emulator on my FireFox, but it always crashes before it finishes loading the popup. (To be more specific, my FF ends up as "not responding" in an infinite attempt to finish loading.)

So I figured I'd try IE today. To my surprise, I could actually see a GBA image, and on the 'screen', an Orange Java Logo loading. However, after that, all that was left for me was a white area with a red X.

I checked to see if my Java was enabled (check), I made sure there's no popupblockers or anything of that sort active, but I'm still not sure how to proceed.

I've only tried 3 GBC games so far, and the problem applies to all of them. Since I wasn't sure what this was all about, I have not yet "bought" any other game, since I didn't want to use my Viz for something that might not work.

Any tips on what I should do, or how I should go about approaching the issue?

Kijame: If you normally use FireFox then you might need to update your Java installation.
Just go to http://www.java.com/ and click "Do I have Java" and follow the steps to update if it tells you to.
Remember, you will need to use the browser that you want to update to perform ther update on.

Amoureux Du Feu: Check your cookie settings if FF keeps not logging you in, you might need to add a cookie exception for Vizzed board.
(Someone else will have to explain it though as I don't use FF).

I've still got the same trouble with Firefox, despite updates and whatnot...

However, it does appear to work fine now, using IE. Although, I'm not sure if it is the file or IE, but at times (like during the Pokemon cry) the sound is choppy for a second or two.
Nonetheless, it seems I can play now
