I don't know if I'm going to be able to stomach this...

And I mean that literally...

You see, I... i-it's just disgusting! My dad was going to make boiled eggs for me to eat, but they turned out to be rotten, and... I think I'm going to faint...

It's just horrible, he... he-he...

HE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO EAT GRILLED CHEESE INSTEAD!!!

OH, THE HORROR!

Whatever shall I do?!

Grilled cheese? Seriously, dad? Hot, buttered slices of bread with melted cheese in between? I-I... I think I'm going to vomit...

How disgusting!

Ha, ha, all jokes aside, though, people, this news made me so happy that I literally had to make a thread about it! I LOVE YOU, GRILLED CHEESE!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

Cheese, along with milk, is one of my favorite things to include in my meals... Yeah, I'm a huge dairy fan .

Anyway, it's been so long since I've had grilled cheese, and it's so easy to make, but we never thought about it for some reason, and today the brilliant idea popped into my dad's head and I am going to be as HAPPY AS A PIG IN- ... mud .

Expect a poem about grilled cheese soon. xD

Grilled cheese and me have an odd relationship. Basically its all we could afford so I wound up eating it for about 4-5 days in a row, so that was ew.

I can barely stomach grilled cheese anymore.


But milk is nice... in fact, brb im getting milk.

Wait until you get good at making grilled cheese sandwiches and you start playing with them.  I like to go with a nice sharp cheddar, two slices, and I find a way to sneak some bacon, some thin tomato slices, and even oregano or basic shakes of herb in between the cheese.

I also heat the pan up to a nice medium heat.  You can't burn the butter on the bread but the cheese takes time to melt if you do it right.  When you learn to cook with medium heat instead of high all the time, things can come together very nicely.

Bacon, tomatoes, sharp cheese flavors, a nice roll of bread, butter..... What else is there?

Grilled cheese I hate. Anything else with cheese I love. If you have not already make a poem about mac and cheese. because with me. Imagine your addiction with grilled cheese except mac and cheese. That is me

warmaker : I swear you sound almost exactly like my dad xD! He also loves to experiment with food and stuff, as he is the cook of the family .

I love making buttered rolls or bagels and I love putting cheese in it once its toasted, that's even better than regular grilled cheese.

I've loved grilled cheese as one of my favorite foods for most of my life. When I was a toddler, I would gobble up my grilled cheese sandwich and then steal half of my mom's and eat that next. XD However, for a few years I suddenly didn't like the texture and I refused to eat it. I tried it again a year or 2 ago and fell in love with it again.

I'm a huge dairy fan as well. Grilled cheese and milk is one of my favorite combinations, and I love every type of cheese, including bleu cheese. In fact, I love most dairy products.
