“Love’s a game, wanna play?”
Sora looked at Roxas. It was an interesting thought.
“Sure.” He said.
Sora put his hand in Roxas’ hand.
“What are the rules?” Sora asked as they walked hand in
hand.
“It’s gonna be forever or it’s gonna go down in flames.” Said
Roxas.
They stepped outside.
It was beautiful outside Sora thought.
“Nice place you got here.” He said.
“Thank you.” Said Roxas
They both looked into each other’s eyes for a moment as they
walked and blushed. Sora squeezed Roxas’ hand in reassurance though and he
squeezed back.
“Who was she?” Roxas asked.
“Just a friend.” Sora said.
They continued to walk but, closer together and arm in arm.
A set of stairs in front of them. They stepped down them.
“This is fun.” Sora said.
“It is.” Said Roxas
They continued to walk stepping into the tree line. The trees
were tall, the leaves green. It smelled refreshing Sora thought.
“Is anybody else going to play with us?” Sora asked.
“You’re not that innocent.” Roxas said with a laugh.
At that Sora laughed too. Then he said in a more serious
tone, “Who are they?”
“Well, so far there is ten of them.” Roxas said cheerily.
“I know that, who are they though, names aside.” Sora spoke.
“At the very least I say, friends with possibilities.” Roxas
said with a sigh.
They stopped in front of a fountain. It was simple and
elegant in design. A moogle statue stood in its center. The moogle looked
happy. Sora smiled.
“So, how in fact did you manage to find all of this?” Sora
asked.
“That’s a good question you know, but some secrets are
better kept.” Roxas said.
Sora laughed.
“What about our secrets?” he said.
“They belong to us.” Roxas replied.
They started around the fountain.
“So, where is it?” Sora said.
“It’s over here.” Roxas said.
With that Roxas pointed and Sora saw. On a tree was a blank
space.
“Well then.” Said Sora.
“And alls we have to do is.” It was a statement.
“I guess we could.” Sora said.
“Well, it’s either that or the same thing.” Said Roxas.
They both walked up to it. The tree stood plainly. On it was
a space that said, “blank space”.
“Incredible isn’t it?!” Roxas exclaimed.
“It is.” Said Sora.
“Shall we?” asked Roxas.
“I would love to, you first.” Sora said.
Roxas pulled a knife shaped like a key from his pocket and then began to carve
a name into the blank space. After he was done it read, “Sora”. Sora laughed
and held his hand out. Roxas put the knife in Sora’s hand. Sora began to carve.
When he was done it read, “ Roxas and Sora.” Inside a heart. They looked at
each other then and Sora embraced Roxas.
Looking into each others’ eyes Sora could feel Roxas. He could also distantly
feel the rest of the group that was coming.
“You feel them now.” He said.
“Yes.” Said Roxas.
They kissed. Lightly on the lips. After that they stood
there holding each other, waiting not for a future anymore Sora realized.
They had just made one.
