So, i've been a long time Fire Emblem franchise fan. i've played almost all of the actual games from FE6 and on (minus the ones for the DS) and most of the hacks (The last promise was SICK!)

And i'm dying to play the original FE games but i just can't get into them the way they're made. 

SO, i was wondering, would it be possible to REMAKE the old games like Thracia 776 or Geneaology of the holy war in the style of FE6/FE7?

Or is this already a project under way?

So... you want older fire emblem game remakes? Like The original FE and Mystery of the Emblem (FE3)? Those... already exist, and they're on the DS. While one (Shadow Dragon, which is a remake of the first FE) was released overseas,  the other one (New Mystery of the Emblem, which is a remake of Mystery of the Emblem) wasn't released outside of Japan, the first do so since Binding Blade. I don't see why it didn't, but it might be because it is actually the first game to have a playable avatar and Casual Mode (so those who bring up these points as why FE:A is so revolutionary, you're wrong), and that it strayed too far from what FE is about. Both games are now pretty much useless because of the Nintendo WiFi being shut down; one item that allows a promotion is now unobtainable, because you could only get it via online.

   Personally, I would love to see an updated version of FE7 in Awakening graphics, because I do like FE7 (Blazing Sword, IIRC) a lot, but going from Awakening to that kinda makes me feel like Blazing Sword looks pretty bad. It's a lot like Pokemon; going from gen 6 to gens 2 or 1 is like hitting a brick wall.
