Hey, guys! Green here with another thread :3. This time, you all heard about the horror game 'Five Nights at Freddy's', right? I'm starting to have interests and started to like it. Spoilers Alert!! (Do not read if you dislike spoilers.) So, you're a night guard, guarding Freddy's Fazbear Pizza. You must survive until 6:00 AM without letting the Animatronics get you and stuff you into a 'suit'. Well, if you look to the picture of a Golden Bear in the west hall camera (whatever it is), you'll see a Golden Bear animatronic in your Office. It will kill you with its face zoomed in. Golden Freddy crashes your game, not a Game Over. Is Golden Freddy a glitch? According to an interview with Scot Cawthon (developer of  Fnaf and its sequel), he said he can't explain Golden Freddy. First of all, who is Golden Freddy? The leader of the Animatronics? A clone of Freddy? Who is he? Some fans think that Golden Freddy is an Hallucination to Mike Shmidtz. What's an Hallucination? They are sensations that appear real but created your mind. My theory is, Golden Freddy was one of the animatronics who used to perform with Freddy, Bonnie and Chica. He was a second clone to Freddy. You know the story where five children went missing? One of the children was stuffed into Golden Freddy. This animatronic was alone in a room with so many glowing lights and its color changed, golden. So, who do you think Golden Freddy is? A glitch? 

From what I have read, Golden Freddy is not a glitch he is just a rare act inside the game. In fact, he becomes a much bigger character in FNAF2. It is cool how they programmed Golden Freddy to crash the game after you see him. nope, not a glitch and he also appears in the 2nd game. also, judging by the looks of it there may be a 3rd game in the works (theres a section for a 3rd game on the wiki).

Definitely not a glitch. According to Fnaf 2, it's a spare suit they have in the back, which could explain why it's different. Maybe it was an old animatronic, being replaced by a new Freddy suit. Or maybe it was just a spare Freddy suit, just left to rot and because of that, turned yellow/golden.

Nah, there is no way Golden Freddy's a glitch.

If he were a glitch, then he would have to be a messed up, distorted, or recolored version of Freddy, which is highly unlikely since he has his own artwork appearing on the poster, in the office, and in his kill screen, which all seem to perfect to be glitches . 

Yeah, even without having to look at a page, you can guess its not a glitch, its just a new way to scare gamers every now and then.
