The PC version of Final Fantasy VII is going to be ported to the PS4 early next year. Any thoughts on this? Will you get it? I don't have a PS4 so I can't play it but I have played the PC version for a bit.

This seems kinda pointless actually. It's available many devices already: Playstation, Steam, Playstation 3, PSP and probably others. If they think they can port it to every device and satisfy those who want a remake then they are wrong. Remake it for the PS4 and I'll buy a PS4 but I'm not going to buy a PS4 for a port of something I already own on all those other devices I listed.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did it because people were complaining they couldn't play it on a PS4, 

But seriously if you expect a remake, then you may as well give up... 

The game's 18 years old... that's a lot of time and people that have never played the game... 

Plus final fantasy isn't really the amazing franchise it used to be either... 

legacyme3 : The PC version was a port of the PS1 game, but they were given an earlier build and it had a lot of bugs and glitches, it also had a different translation team.. so some minor things are different... Then over the years, they've pretty much used things modders have created to make it work better... the steam version does have slightly better FMV's and a level booster but that's about it... OH and the characters have mouths... lol.

Not sure about the ps3 version though... i've not completed it... if it's got ruby and emerald it's the International Version though...

Extremely pointless. I own like, four different versions of this game and I'm not buying anymore unless they finally give into the enormous amount of people screaming and frothing at the mouth (I'm one of them) for a graphically updated (But nothing else! MESS WITH NOTHING ELSE!) version. Grr.
