Who is the man and woman of the Year 2014?

Which man or woman gets the award for being the most outstanding.

I won't have categories set so if you wish to nominate as many people as you wish for different things then please feel free.

For finally revealing what everyone knew (it's going to screw us hard), Jonathan Gruber deserves a nomination. Rarely has someone been so blunt about using newspeak or talking about rational ignorance. Too bad it's not likely to be repelled...

He may not be well known, but a musician named Alex Boye deserves that title in my book. He personally takes time to reply to his fans and is ever the optimist (I got a reply from him the other day! I was so excited.). Every single one of his videos reflects his joyful attitude. If I make it in the music world, I want my videos to appear that way, as well.

As for woman of the year, I think my mom wins that category She's a hero, although she may not be very soft-spoken most of the time. She stood up for me many times when I was getting picked on, and encouraged me to choose the right, to help those that are getting picked on as well. She makes mistakes, but I love her anyways.

Way too many people and groups could make the list of jerk of the year but I think I have narrowed it down to two that stand out for me. One would be the group Isis ( which is a ongoing issue that doesn't look to be ending anytime soon ) for the treatment of people in general and their hate filled messages they send out to recruit with. The second one would be Donald Sterling for his racist comments and his housing discrimination against african americans for decades. I mean can you imagine the amount of people he hurt with the housing things. That just takes a special kind of jerk for sure. 
Well that's my main two jerks of the year but for honorable mention I am going to list these :
The Taliban ( for kidnapping hundreds of girls from their schools and the attack they did on some town I can't even pronounce where they killed over 140 people including about 130 kids ), and the cop who killed that 12 year old kid Tamir Rice ( because he couldn't be bothered to take 2 or 3 seconds to find out if the gun the kid had in his hand was real or not ).

Well, that is a though question indeed :o I guess this is just a personal opinion by me, but I would definitely think about Matt Heafy by the American band Trivium if it's about the man of 2014 o= there is this video that shows that except being a great musician, he is also a great person who cares about his fans and their conditions c:
