I pretty much stuck to the RPG style games.  Zelda, Faxanadu, Final fantasy.  However I did enjoy the Mario games as well jumping on stuff to kill it was different.  It was so long ago although I can not recall everything that I have played.

With me, it's actually the other way around. It seems I was better at gaming when I was a kid ^^' Maybe I just need to get into the groove again. Or it's the fact that I don't have a pc controller yet. Maybe it would go better if I had that.
I'll definitely need to play the old Zelda games too at some point. I love the new ones so I'm sure I'll like the oldies too : ) All Final Fantasy games are on my to play list too. I own X and XIII but other than that, I haven't been able to play any yet.
