dark mode : it for sure looks weird, but from the trailers, the weird definently looked interesting, and it is still a movie I’ll likely watch, however probably not in theaters, I’ll just watch it for free later lol.

SacredShadow : Detective Pikachu looks extremely goofy and strange, but I think Ryan Reynolds is going to rock the role. Also, I’m very excited for DBS and will be (hopefully) seeing it opening night.

Now that I've finally got around to watching Black Mirror Bandersnatch, the next movie on my list is either Schindler's List (as I mentioned in my previous post in this thread) or Bird Box. I've heard a lot about Bird Box, and it's topical right now, so I might opt to watch that next instead.

Same thing as tgags above me, I might just go and watch Bird Box pretty soon, as it's a trending thing right now and I've heard good things. I saw a bit of the trailer and was just confused so I hope the entire movie doesn't just leave me with being confused..

I just watched a movie called American Assassin, and it was actually better than I thought it was going to be.

I think the next one in my stack from Black Friday / Christmas spree will probably either be Dunkirk (saw it in theatres), Escape 2 (didn't know there was a 2nd one until Black Friday), or Monty Python and Holy Grail (I've only ever seen bits and pieces of it)

The next movie that I plan on seeing is Glass. I think it comes out on the 18th and I'm going to see it with my friend. I saw the last movie in the series (Split) and I'm really curious about what happens. Though I really should watch the 1st movie so I know what's really going on.

I really want to see some of the movies likely to be Oscar-nominated like The Favourite, The Black Klansman, A Star is Born, Green Book, etc. Watching the Golden Globes last night got me excited to see the Oscar-bait movies.

The next movie I'd like to see would be Dragon Ball Super Broly but there's a good chance I'll end up watching something else before that comes out.  Still though, I'm very excited for that movie!

Black Bird and Schindler's List are still on my list, but I think next I want to re-watch Se7en. I was thinking about the ending of that movie the other day, and now I have the urge to watch it again. I don't think my brother has ever seen it, so I may watch it with him today, or sometime soon.

I love watching films. I took a film class in High School so I thought I was really smart when it came to film and pretended like I knew so much, but I really didn't know anything other than like the techniques used to film. I would give fake film analyses and be like oh my god I'm so smart.
It kind of prevented me from enjoying watching movies to be quite honest. I stopped holding those views and started viewing film as more an art piece; something to be interpreted how the viewer wants to see them and enjoy it for what it is.
I recently saw Into the Spiderverse and it was probably the best movie I've seen to date. The writing was phenomenal, characters wonderful, design and art styles were inspiring and experimental. That's probably the first movie I'd give a 10/10 to.

I think the movie I'm most excited to see next is the Sonic Movie coming out. I've heard nothing but bad things about it, but I want to make the decision for myself to see if it's actually a bad movie or if people are just expecting something bad so they're classifying it as terrible without it even coming out yet.

But more recently, I think I'm interested in seeing the new Wreck it Ralph movie? My roommates saw it without me and said that it was an amazing movie. I really want to watch it because it has everything I like in a movie. Plus, I heard that it's even better than the first and I absolutely loved the first one!

Kiyo : Why didn't you see the new Ralph movie already? It's tied for my favorite animated movie of the decade and is one of my favorites of all time. It was super funny.

I really liked the 1st one but within 1 week of this one coming out, I saw it more times than i ever saw the 1st one.

zanderlex : I haven't seen it because I usually go with my friends to watch movies. But they all went without me. I never go to the movies by myself so I just have to wait until it comes out on DVD or online somewhere to watch it.

Kiyo : oh, I rarely go to movies with friends but that's only because I go to the movies a lot and who has the kind of money to go with me 130 times lol.

It was so good on large screens though. I saw it in both IMAX and Dolby. Need to see it in 3D now.
