Hello! I am DragonMaster64 and I joined this website so that I could play a bunch of games that I could never play myself. I have several console systems and portable systems. I have a PlayStation 1, a Gamecube, a Wii, a PlayStation Portable, and a Nintendo 3DS. I have many games for each system and have played them at least once. The kind of games I like are puzzle, platform, arcade, and a bit of RPG and fighting games like Smash Bros.

That's quite the collection that you have. I am trying my best to build on my Gamecube games at the moment in a slow pace. There are others around here who have Super Smash Bros from the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and you should play against them. Sadly, I am not one of those people at the moment.

What is your favorite retro console and favorite new console at the moment?

Sadly I have only ever played the demo for Smash Bros 4 on the 3DS though I do want to get it but only if I have friends who have the game.

A Gamecube huh? Nice! I must say I'm a bit jealous : p I hoped my Wii could play gamecube games, but sadly it's one of those Family Editions. Ugh. One day I'll buy a GC though. I don't understand why I never wanted it as a kid.

I have a question, is a psp worth it to buy now? I've never played on a psp, but some of the games seem really fun and quirky. I saw one on a yard sale yesterday, but I'm just not sure. I have a ps2 and ps3. Would I still have use for a psp then? Sorry that I'm bothering you with a question like this on your welcome post ^^'

I honestly I don't know if a PSP is worth it. I have quite a couple of games for the PSP and they are fun, but I don't know if buying a PSP is necessarily worth it right now with the PSP Go or Vista. You can just download several of the PSP games on there at the PlayStation Store. If you really don't want to deal with figuring out which portable PlayStation console to play just go with the  PSP. PSP will have access to all PSP games. If you really want to know for sure research it. But getting the PSP will save you some boring reading unless you want to.

Welcome. I personally have not owned a console system since my last PS2 in 2005. I owned a GBA for a few years and played a lot of Final Fantasy attics and Zelda on it. My only problem with smaller hand held gaming systems is the screen and the headache that will come on after staring at it for 2 plus hours. I think you should just save your money for games on the systems you own.

Thank you for the information : ) It's indeed best that I don't start with psp, I have too many systems to collect games on already XD Although for my Ps2 it's enough at the moment now. I've got 40 games, so that'll keep me very busy for a while to get through all of them haha. Yard sales are very dangerous for me; they always give me ideas. Like with that psp... *sighs* I should avoid them for a while.
