That's right. I'm closing in on the coveted 5000 post mark!

It's been nearly 5 years since I joined (early January of 2005) and in the last 12 months I'll have posted about 3500-4000 times.

Well, I just checked and as of right now I've posted 3267 (or 3268 with this post) since the beginning of the year so I'd hit about 3768 by the time I hit my 5th year here.

That's more than anyone else on the board. DH is a very close 2nd and Ziggy is 3rd. After that Davideo is 4th with 1000 less than I've done.

I'm pretty pleased!

really, it's about consistency.... the way I've done it this year has been over-kill.

Dave has 10,000 posts because he posts a few times a day. It's rare that I see him with more than 15 or 20 posts....

I for some reason decided that this year I was going to post like a maniac... and I did . But it's hard to maintain that kind of a post count. I figure by the end of the year I'll average 10 posts per day. That's fairly high considering I was banned for almost an entire month (or more than that)....

yeah... it's really unfortunate.

I am hoping as the holidays get closer that more people will be free to post. It's not fun posting with the same 2-3 people every day. It starts to get bland and kinda spammy

yeah, I'm down to about 6 hours left... and not a lot of motivation to beat him.... but we'll see how the rest of the day goes.
