Grey yowled as he felt a fist slam into his gut just before he was pushed into one of the few rooms that even South Hills deemed unusable, it's windows cracked and mold everywhere. His aggressors chuckled. There were three of them.
The first spoke. He knew the name of this one. Del. The leader of the other gang. He also possessed a knife, a rare convenience at their age. "So, ready to die?"
He growled. "You think you'll get away with this?! The Brootz are gonna make you pay!"
The boys behind Del chuckled as their leader lifted Grey's chin. "Oh, but your cheesy lines are so funny!" He whipped the knife across his rival's face, then kicked him. He turned to his 'boys.' "Kill him." He left, and so Grey, leader of the a roots, was killed by the Slews. This was the third murder in the school's history.
So, you can see that this is off to a beautiful start.
The School-
South Hills High School is not a good place to grow up. Ruled by the two opposing gangs, the Brootz and the Slews, the teachers have given up on disipline and essentially let the kids get away with whatever they want. It is a run down, trashy city, and nobody their has any money.
The gangs -The gangs have all the power. They deal drugs occasionally, but these apthings are hard to find.
Brootz- Oldest gang, been around for 30 or so years, graduates leave for mafia and bigger stuff. The boots generally have shorter hair and are very violent. The leader of the Brootz is decided by the best fighter, and anyone may challenge the leader at any time. About 12% of the school are part of thi gang.
Leader-None(Formerly Grey)
Slews-Gang formed about a year ago by students seeking protection. It grew though, and now makes up 8% of the school's 500 kids. They are very hostile towards the Brootz, seeking to undermine them and get more into the fold, and the Brootz have the same mentality towards them. The Slews generally have longer hair.
Leader-Del
The leader of the Brootz was murdered one week ago by Del's men. The investigation was quick and half-hearted, the police couldn't care less. But now, the tension between the two gangs is on a completely different level, and the neutral students fear an all out war.
Description-You will goose a side (or remain neutral). You cannot change from gang to gang easily, but you can. You will select a year of high school, ( careful, Freshman kill week has a very literal meaning here) and describe your background, looks, etc.
Weapons-Guns are out. Period. Knives are very rare, and so are weapons in general. Unless I say you find one, you'd have to buy or steal it.
This RP will take place in and out of school. I will state when school gets out and when it starts, but bleh.
