GRAPHICS:their not the best but very very good for gbc this style was used a lot for a while during zelda games but its a likeable style
but they did do something that peeked my interest they made some parts a 2D sidescroller wich amazed me and was really cool move
SOUND:all those little tunes are great i especailly like the mountain theme it reminds you that old things are still good and retro gamer are really cool to see the beuty of the game that was long since forgoten,a long time ago, the many theme's throughout the game's get better and better due to better sound though i like saying that a lot of bit music is really cool
ADDICTIVENESS:this game isn't very addictive after you beat it there's no extra bosses or features or anything but the depth of the game makes up for it(hever i still give it a 6 due to the easter egg if you beat the game without dieing) however if your a collector you may like this game's many heart pieces and shells to unlock a fuller bar to beat bosses easier and sword level two due to the max amout of shells giveing you power that combined with a red tunic can be deadly and nothing can stop you from doing the story but like i said once its over there's nothing left you can't even redo the bosses
STORY:the wind fish is a really cool storyline different from he main story it was never continued but the whole island was a dream (don't worry you find this out in the begginning its not a spoiler) the dream of the wind fish all the characters you meet', all of them weren't real exept one(beat the game without dieing) and the game is unlike any of the storyline's they went completly different on this one and
they should have gone with the style more often now its all gandork all the time what happened to vaatii?anyone remembr him?
DEPTH:like all zelda game's this is a really long game lots of dungeons(including the secret one) a lot of enemy's and bosses, and the sheer amout of heart pieces the collectable shells make the game even longer giveing it a feel of i need to go online to find these items to beat the final boss kinda thing but back then it was much harder due to the fact there wasn't cheat codes unless you read like nintendo power or somthing like that
DIFFICULTY:this is a really hard game if your not careful this is what game's were back then there was no such thing as newb protection
like many of the newer games,if you don't collect enough items and use supplies correctly you will not win like you need to some of the bosses take HUGE chunks of your health while other have tediously large amout of health in all this is a pretty hard game
OVERAL:this game is beutiful i love it in every way and wish there was a sequel to this the story needs to be revived and though it may not have anything after the main story there are a bunch of easter eggs to explore and lots of collectables to get any for this i give it a 9.5 old school beutey
