We all dreamed it would happen someday, and most if not all of us are planning on purchasing it. And finally the day comes that it was

announced this Spring 2015 Majora's Mask is coming, and gonna be released for the Nintendo 3DS. So who all will be getting it? Which

version the normal version, or the collector's edition? And what are your thought's and wants about the game? Think there will be any

difference than the N64 game? I am so excited that it is finally gonna be released.

I have been waiting for more games like Majora's Mask for a very long time, though a remake is not exactly what I had been 'asking for'. I'll take it, though. It's certainly one of my favourite Zelda games ever. In my top 3, most likely. I find it hard to choose sometimes. Anyways, I hope they change very little. I'm hoping that it looks at least as good as OoT for the 3DS but the game-play is the most important part so as long as they don't take out things that we all loved I'm fine with it. I haven't heard much about the game so I don't know what the collector's edition will entail but I suppose I could get it if my brother doesn't get it first. It depends on the cost though. If it's overpriced and has little addition to the regular version then why buy it over the regular copy?
If I were to pick one thing that they could add to the new game, I would have to say -- a multiplayer mode of some sort. Even if it's a mini-game like in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks I would love having it. Of course a full-on 2 player story mode (co-op and/or counter-op) would be even better, but that's wishful thinking. Zelda games and multiplayer have rarely mixed and when they did it was limited/restricted.

bugameca : Sounds good, when you said the remake isn't exactly what you hoped for, was it that you wanted a sequel to Majora's mask, or a game similar? Also multi player would be amazing.

Lycan212 : Either one, anything related to it would have been fantastic in my eyes. Well as long as it was handled tastefully. I wouldn't want the franchise to be ruined by a bad sequel but so far I've only played one or two Zelda games that I didn't love. It's not easy to make me unhappy with a Zelda game.
So far the only multiplayer story mode in the Zelda universe (as far as I know) is Four Swords Adventures and that game is kind of a spin-off of A Link to the Past which isn't a bad thing. I enjoyed the game thoroughly and it still has some replay value (mostly for multiplayer). The issue with that game though was that in order for more than one person to play, each person needed a Game Boy Advance and a GBA GameCube Link Cable.
I can respect developers when they avoid multiplayer because it can be so difficult to make it work properly and there's the screen space problem for local multiplayer. However, there are many ways to avoid such problems and many development companies have had success with local multiplayer and co-op story mode and such. And now with TV screens getting bigger and better, the space on screen for local multiplayer is becoming less of an issue.
