Alright, so basically. This is a thread about what you're favourite region of music being, Western, Spanish, eastern, Japanese (Putting this in to a category of itself), Arabic (This too), Turkish, Dutch (This is basically western, but a little different, it sucks though) and also different regions of instrumental. Whatever region you can think of.

While I do have some guilty pleasures of Arabic, in fact I'm listening to an Arabic song right now.

But I'm gonna have to go with Japanese instrumental, or western instrumental. Probably Japanese, it's pretty amazing, I love the tunes it has. And of course, anime also has some incredible instrumental music. For western, it's mostly drums and guitar, and anime dubbed music (Some anime have different soundtrack, depending on which language. DBZ is one example)

What about you?

That's a tough one. I would say the UK, and Germany, Africa

  • UK - The best rock in history comes from here. Very original and artistic. Like Queen, the Beatles, Muse, to name but three.
  • Germany - Many great classical composers where German (and French), Beethoven being my favorite. The classical music from Germany was some of the best, and it's one of my favorite types of music.
  • Africa - I love african music in general. The soul and rhythm, so powerful.

Europe (especially the icy northern lands), since it's the birthplace of electronic music in general. From Kraftwerk's classic techno in 60's Germany, to Daft Punk's "french-touch" in mid-90's France, to T99's hardcore techno in the late 90's-early 00's... That's why I love EDM so freakin' much - there are so many genres with so many different origins co-existing all under a single banner! Isn't that awesome?!

Well, seriously, I can not do something like this to be honest :o I am a huge fan of Metal and Rock music, but there are so many amazing bands from so much different countries o= I mean, America has bands like Trivium, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Europe is known for their Melodic Death Metal giants like In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and Soilwork, Australia has Parkway Drive, Asia has bands like lynch., DEATHGAZE, Dir En Grey... I could go on with this forever, because there is just too much amazingness around the whole world

Canada rocks! Although many of my favorite artists (Sum 41, Brian Adams) are from British Columbia, the (English part) of the country is in many ways superior to the U.S. when it comes to rock music. Although I have to admit that Germans do heavy metal better.
