Yet another anime review.

Really scraping the barrel now. Hopefully this my last one for a while it depend what happens in the Tour De Vizzed tonight, If I win the jersey outright it would be nice to be able to attempt to sleep like a normal person again. The pain and suffering I have put myself through to try and win this jersey is absurd >->

Synopsis
Forced against his own will to join the GJ club, Shinomiya Kyouya introduces you to his daily life with all the wild members of his new club. Every day is a new adventure for this group of high schoolers and you get to see an inside on how things are run in the Good Job Club!

Genre 6
Back to my roots this is a slice of life comedy. However, no real romance this time! There is not much to say for the genre, the slice of life appeal to it  , is as it is for most slice of life anime, it is relaxed and easy to watch. You are not getting into any real juicy things and you can pick this up whenever you feel the need to watch something light. The comedy is decent, it was not very laugh out loud funny in my opinion but it got the job done. I would say its greatest appeal for genre is how light and fluffy it is, nothing serious about it , it is here purely for easy watching.

Story 3
This really offers little to no story but as a slice of life that is somewhat expected. Every episode featured a new activity going on in the club room and they were mildly entertaining however nothing noteworthy or special. Like typical slice of life series' each episode featured is spanned out around a full school year. So you get summer and winter episodes. But as I stated, this show is aimless, there is no plot and it is simply day to day life of the people in this club. There is not much else to say aside from that , that would keep me from spoiling the episodes.

Characters 5
These characters have almost no substance to them and there is no character building nor development through the whole span of the series. This is mostly upsetting because the characters are suppose to be what holds the show up, this is a slice of life for the hundredth time I can deal with no plot when handling these but the characters have to display something special. This is not to say they are so dull it is unbearable, I did finish the series and even the second season so there has to be some appeal to them. They are all a rather silly bunch of people and their conversation does flow nicely, just the situations they are placed in hold very little appeal to me.

Detail 7
My first thought when I started this series is how similar the club president looked like Taiga from Toradora. If you read my review on that you know I regard that anime fairly highly. It was disappointing though that they could not do a character more unique in its design. Aside from that the other characters are cute and nicely drawn, relatively unique and hold their own. The movements are done easily and show the thought put into them. There is not much that sets apart the art in this anime however, it is simply a typical modern take on things and a big touch of cute for added appeal. The added appeal is not very much however as it is added in most every anime especially in this genre.

Sound 6
As expected for its genre, the openings and endings are all rather peaceful pieces. Nothing remarkable about the sounds of any of them. The art done in them is the best you are going to get out of this series however, which as well is typical. The background music is fair and just, though not entirely noticeable in most scenes. It does its intended job and does it well enough that it can be appreciated.

Addictiveness 8
Despite this being such a tame and dull series I found myself able to watch it very quickly, as it stands at twelve episodes long and around twenty minutes an episode , this was a pretty relaxing and easy watch anime . It was not the most entertaining of series that I have ever watched but it helped relieve me of some boredom and was nice to view.

Over-All 7
I feel like I am being too lenient with this score but it was not such an awful anime. It was definitely watchable it just is not something anyone would list as one of their favorites. The premise gives away all the thrill you can receive from this series and I think anyone who has an interest in this anime should be wary that this is a very light series that is not meant to be taken seriously in any way. This is something to enjoy for the calm and relaxing feel of everything and maybe just feel a little warm inside about something. Overall decent in its genre but does not hold much to it, there is no actual story and no substance, simply something to smile at in your free time.
