I know what your thinking "WOW , Muffin has done two anime reviews in two days" , Well do not get used to it , I just felt motivated for once.. At 5am... So yeah . Welcome to my life. Either way here is the next anime I have reviewed

Synopsis
The hero , Yuusha , finds his way to the Dark Lady's, Maou, castle after an epic journey . Instead of doing what he came to do he is instead pleaded with to help her . Every argument he makes on why she is a wicked person and he should not trust her she has a rebuttal for to prove her side of things . Could it be she is not whom she seems to be?  Our hero is thoroughly convinced the only way to save the helpless people of their world is to team up with this woman , who is thought to be the sole cause of all the treachery and disruption there , and conquer tasks together . Together will they bring the peace that this world so desperately needs ?

Genre 9
Adventure , romance , and fantasy , a combo that I actually enjoy a great deal and it is so hard to find decent series' . I have a hard time find many at all if I am being honest , and the ones that I have found are usually such a big let down that I end up dropping them . Lately anime seems to like making fantasy all set in the future or somewhat modern times , and that is great and all , but when you think of folklore and that lot I usually imagine things set in an older time and this does exactly that , it uses a somewhat medieval setting which really adds to my appeal to the fantasy . The romance while fairly forced in the beginning ends up being worth it and pretty enjoyable and even slightly funny at times . The adventure in it is produced beautifully and really gets you interested in the world around them .

Story 7
While it does become rather dull the story itself is rather interesting . A somewhat well known topic in many action anime , demons against humans and the demons are getting awful close to victory . This story has a lot of depth to it and it was very thought out , they introduce many elements to the show which is not surprising at all seeing the same team that made this made Spice & Wolf as well , and if you have never seen that it brings you to such a vast world with so much in it , it is ridiculous . As I said though it can become rather dull , sometimes I found myself having a hard time wanting to concentrate on what they were discussing and it became hard to follow the story line when watching multiple episodes in a row . I enjoyed this more for the appeal of the world and how open it seemed rather than for the plot exactly

Characters 6
This anime takes a big dip here because while the world is so well thought out the characters are rather dull . A big focus in the anime when dealing with romance is seeing how cute these two are together and while that is very apparent the depth of the two of them is not so apparent . The Hero , Yuusha , not much of a charmer , he is more known for being a bit oblivious , pretty typical for a lead male but it seems to be a big factor in his character . He does not have much substance to him . The Dark Lady , Maou , while she has a cute personality it is very obvious her design was pure fan service . She has the better design of them both though as her traits go deeper , you can she her motive and you can see her decisions for her actions .

Detail 9
I really loved the art for this anime , it flowed together so well and was made wonderfully . It has more than a modern touch to it , like each scene was done with such care . As I said with the Dark Lady , there is a bit of fan service in here and it is so completely useless . It adds nothing to the plot , and while she is the most prominent character featuring that there is plenty of it throughout the entire length of the series . Moving on from that , the back drops and the scenery is all wonderfully done and beautiful to look at . The art itself in this is something to marvel at .

Sound 5
Unnoticeable , completely unnoticeable . Aside from the dull opening and ending the background music of it all is just in no way apparent . I am sure if you really kept your ear open you could find some nice melody to it and symbolic pieces however I do not believe you should be straining yourself to actually be able to see (or perhaps hear in this case) that an anime has an actual soundtrack to it .

Addictiveness 6
I know I mentioned earlier that I could not pay attention to the story at times . I mean that , this is not something to try to marathon at all . Take your time and space this series out , because it is too much of a long haul to keep a coherent understanding of what is going on throughout the series if you were to attempt to watch it all at one time . I think the most I could do is maybe three episodes a day . Do not fret however , this is a twelve episode long series and it should not take you too long to finish .

Over-All 7
In my opinion , worth it for the world that you are shown . While a lot of the story is mediocre the system they show is so vast it is an experience in of itself . This series is not a let down by any means , I actually did enjoy it a lot it just was not something I felt like i had to race through to finish . The art is beautiful , the characters are enjoyable for the most part and the plot is rather interesting so there are many redeeming qualities for this series . And at 12 episodes long , if you are interested in this at all I would definitely say to give it a shot .

This anime...I dunno its one of those ok anime ones for me. It depends on the person really who is watching it. It could be bad, ok, good or great to them. Its been a while since I've seen this anime though. I don't have anything to point out bad about the lays of your review so that's about it. But, I will say its hard to find the right category for the anime reviews. So do them how you wish and find them comfortable to do.
