If a thread falls off the first page (with 50 threads per a page), I see no harm in making a new thread, can't expect every user to look at every thread of every page to see whether they can make a thread on a specific topic, plus no one is going to find that other thread and reply to it. Lets keep this open, especially these kinds of threads can help generate activity.
