As you've probably guessed, I'm a fan of RPGs.

I've started playing all 5 of these games & I enjoy them all but I'm not sure which one I should concentrate on first.

I really enjoy the Paper Mario games so that's one reason I wanted to try Super Mario RPG. I actually made it up to the point where you get Bowser as a partner so it's one of the ones I got pretty far in. But I also enjoy the other games. I'm a bit indecisive about what to stick with. I finish everything, but what to start with first is a bit of a challenge for me. :p

I recommend starting with Chrono Trigger. Its in-depth story and possibility for multiple endings (12 from what I've heard), along with it being the first game to utilize New Game + (Source: GameInformer, November 2009 issue) make it an RPG you'll be playing for a long while. Plus, some of the endings are funny, if memory serves me.

I made my first trip into the future in Chrono Trigger. I love the way the hero looks when he does his victory stance after battle. The artwork reminds me of the Dragon Warrior/Quest series & the Dragonball series. Does anyone know if they were done by the same people as far as artwork is concerned?

earthbound all the way. at first look it may be dismissed as goofy, but that is not true. this game is extremely fun, and every hardcore rpg gamer worth their salt should have their hand at this classic gem. even if they don't beat it, just to try it, and know why this game has such a massive amount of fans.

I enjoy the Mario & Luigi series of RPGs & they have some pretty corny jokes just like Earthbound. I managed to get my first ally in that before I accidently saved over my save state....*cries*


I managed to catch up to that point though. The game is really enjoyable.
