It was just another ordinary day in the life of NintendoFanKimmy.

I was walking down the street with my sister after shopping for some chocolate milk - AHEM, I mean, salad- at the shop on our street. Everything was going normally, just as it always did. All of a sudden, something happened.

"WA7IET AL QUR'AN MA 3AMALT SHI!" (Translation: "I SWEAR TO THE QUR'AN I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!")

My sister nearly dropped her - AHEM, I mean I almost dropped my shopping bag because she made me carry it, it totally wasn't the other way around or anything - in surprise.

"YELLA, KHALAS, MA 3ANDE WA2ET LA YOUR STORY!" (Translation: "HURRY UP, STOP IT, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOUR STORY!")

Then, to avoid getting shoved, we hopped out of the way, for a soldier/policeman (there really is no difference in this country) was pulling a man in handcuffs quickly. They were quickly followed by another pair of cop and suspect. Both groups zoomed past us.

And then I went home and wrote about it because I was thrilled to bits. I finally witnessed the police doing something RIGHT in Lebanon!

*Has flashback of past event.*

Two cars stopped in front of each other at a four-way intersection. Both drivers got out of their cars and started swearing at each other for reasons I cannot remember.

Suddenly, Super Soldier Cop came to the rescue. He walked all the way from his comfy place on the sidewalk to the middle of the intersection. The brave man spoke wise words.

"Please, guys, khalas, ok?" (Translation: "Please, guys, stop it, ok?")

Then he made his long journey all the way back to the sidewalk. I will forever remember the noble actions of this hero. What a brave soul.

*Flashback ends.*

I think you get my point.

In normal countries, you need to pay a fine for littering.

WELCOME TO GOOD, OL' LEBANON - WHERE THE COPS LITTER, TOO!

I love Lebanon <3. It's so adorable <3.

It is pretty cool to witness an arrest but you had the chance to experience two arrests. I would like to see one someday. Luckily, you were able to understand the language and translate especially when some people don't always speak English. When you witness the evil go to jail with your very own eyes, it is a good feeling to feel a little bit safer.

I can relate the police is also useless in egypt. I love arab cops

I go to egypt so often, But I have seen very few cops do anything about the people that are obviously breaking the rules. (No seatbelt driving through red etc.) And last time I was there I actually saw two cars driving in to eachother, And daarn the drivers got mad, Swear after swear I did not understand
Yeah, the army also does police stuff in egypt, However egypt has a strong army.. So why do they need to do police stuff..  I also laugh my butt off at what the people say to eachother, Like wut?

Pretty cool though, that they actually did something, But than the police goes on to litter..

ARAB POLICE IS LOVE, ARAB POLICE IS LIFE.
ghostfishy: I believe that she can speak arabic well, Since.. ya know She lives in lebanon. Could be wrong, But Kimmy and I say small things in arabic from time to time, and I can read the conversations between kimmy and greenluigi that are arabic, Because
stalk. Nah... I don't stalk.  however they do talk with the lebanese dialect, Which makes it a bit harder for a half egyptian like me, I can still manage it.everything for stalking

I've always wanted to witness an arrest...preferably not mine, of course...just make sure the cops don't read this...

I'm not sure a 'congratulation' is apt here, but congrats anyway...? I don't know how to respond to this...

Though it's cool that you can understand Arab...
