Just wondering what genre of game everybody is into. In my case, my favorite genre would have to be rpg's. They have
been the most I've played and I have to put them as my favorite genre.

The games I've played that I would completely  and wholeheartedly recommend to all of you would be the star ocean series of video games, sometimes not the best in game play but I always love the stories they tell. From the FF series I would recommend the one's I've played which are FF7, FF8, FF10, the other FF 10 which I don't remember the name of. The tales games are always great in my opinion and I can't forget to mention The last story and Xenogears <3.

Jeez this is a hard question. I guess I would choose adventure games, I really like the scenery and gameplay of a lot of them. The first thing that comes to mind is The Legend of Zelda, and then I start to think about other games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Sure most adventure games end up being pretty linear but if it gives me an interesting world to explore Ill like it a lot. Im also a big fan of RPG's too, have you ever heard of the Disgaea series? You might like it. Theres also a series of flash game RPG's known as Epic Battle Fantasy, thats a really good one you also might enjoy

shad0wtraverse : I've actually played disgaea, it's just that, at the moment, I did not remember it for my mentions. I love disgaea and my favorite character from that series is beauty queen Etna. Of course, I am up for any other rpg's people throw at me that they think are good. I haven't played the last one you mentioned and so I think I'll search for it to see what it's about. Sayanos : No problem, good to give opinions on different game genres and see what everyone else plays. Armor Games and Kongregate are the two best sites for playing the Epic Battle Fantasy games. Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is also on steam and it has more stuff, but it also costs money. EBF1 and 2 are a lot harder and its a continuous fight, and 3 and 4 are a lot more like real RPG's. You can easily skip 1 and 2 since there isnt much story, and you could even start from 4 and only miss a little. Its a flash game, so dont expect too much of course, but even though its a flash game its still extremely good and probably can compete with console RPG's....Well, at least maybe EBF4 can

All time favorite (least games I include here, due to my pickyness) is RPG.  Fighting and Racing are second with many more games I love.  And since I saw it in the previously post platforming also ranks up there really high too.

Either first person shooter like Counter Strike and Quake or Side Scrollers like Shovel Knight and Risk of Rain. There are other genres I enjoy like RPGs and Racing games but for the time being I get more joy out of Counter Strike more than most games, even though I am really bad at it.

I don't know what category you would put these games in but Mega Man, Donkey Kong Country series, Yoshi's Island, Mario, Banjo & Kazooie. I guess they would be action and maybe adventure. 

I also like sports games. My favorites would be MLB 2002 and MLB 2003.

Most deffinately RPG. I love how it steals your attention with its deceptively simple gameplay, and then reels you in on the layers upon layers upon LAYERS of strategy possibilities. And the awsome story lines are just the icing on the cake. I tend to play games like Mario and Luigi, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon.
