Do any of you ever use the voice translator on your phone? Since I came up into the modern world and got a smartphone, I really hate texting anything with my fingers. I prefer to hit that mic, state what I want to say... and then edit any errors out. Most of the time it does a really great job... but other times the results are so off that I'm astonished. (I have a theory that bad reception affects its accuracy, but I don't know how that's possible?) Anyways, I thought it'd be fun to see some of the crazy results people have gotten by using the voice translator. To start us off, I'm going to actually put an entry from my mother, sent to me:
My mom said: "Yes, I'm speaking now. Right now. Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. This doesn't work. ????"
The phone said: "Yes speak now right now bob loblaw blah blah blah blah he doesn't work pizza hut"
I was trying to teach my mom the handiness of this feature, and of course... she was hereby convinced that it was not worth using. XD You can see the whole conversation
here.
